Is that Steph as Batgirl in that cover?.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.
LoL, it must be a miscoloration. its Bab's costume. You can see how they got Babs confused with the more iconic batgirl.
They refer to that as the cover for Batwing#1. but it wasn't.
Batwing#6 will have a cover by that artist, and I don't think the final cover for that has been released yet.

Yeah, it's definitely Babs--the coloring makes her more of a strawberry blonde, but you can immediately tell by the angled Bat-Symbol. Steph's was always more rounded, like the oval logo without the actual oval.
There's no strawberry in that blonde. The colorist straight up confused her with Stephanie, and nobody in the editorial staff knew the difference.
Sounds like things in this series looks to get better, can't wait for #4 as I love anything ChrissCross has penciled

Isn't it kind of effed up that a former boy-soldier like Zavimbe would knowingly work for Batman, a guy who has put 10+ consecutive children into "child soldier" situations?

Anyone notice the type where they say content instead of continent.
I thought this interview was great. This book is slowly but surely becoming Winick's best work yet

Well, outside of the age, Robins and child soldiers couldn't be further apart. Child soldiers are used to kill--raid villages and the like. Superheroes are supposed to help people more than harm.
That being said, I'm curious to see if David will ever interact with Damian--with how he was raised in the League of Assassins, you can almost say that the two had a fairly similar childhood.
I thought about that too, but I found it to be less of an issue since he's a consenting adult at least. Like, it's been brought up in-story that some people find his use of traumatised kids in combat to be dangerous and messed up, but with David he's what, late 20's at the earliest?
They're non-lethal as a rule, but the Robins are (and according to Frank Miller) "soldiers", that's for sure. There is a difference between Batman and a warlord, a pretty fundamental one. But enough comparisons can be made for outlaw style activity that some neat story potential could be made of it.
I'm not saying everything would be completely negative, in fact David would have a pretty strong idea of just how much one of the Robins would be able to take care of themselves. The interaction with Damian, yes, I believe you are correct in that it could be milked for all it was worth. And I'd like to see him interact with Jason Todd at some point, since Jason's kind of "last move" against Batman's good name was sort of to throw some child soldier imagery in Dick's face.
Just a curiosity though ... Zavimbe almost HAS to have an opinion on the "Robin" program.

Dear heavens. This is the second cover cameo for Barbara as Batgirl which has been made to look like Steph as Batgirl. And last time they didn't bother telling the writer of Batgirl and former writer of Birds of Prey that she was cameoing. Or was that a cameo in Nightwing they forgot to tell her? Anyway, yet another editorial screw up with Batgirl.
Is DC editorial just a room full of monkeys on iPhones?
