Tom Defalco's Fantastic Four run probably single handly made me a comic fan, and his MC2 titles (though oddly, not Spider-Girl) cemented me as a DeFalco fan. He think he's a really REALLY good fit for a Legion title. As much as I hate to see Nicieza go, DeFalco is a solid replacement choice.

I've never followed the Legion but I might give them a shot now. DeFalco writes fun comics. I like Pete Wood, but if he decides to leave, I hope Ron Frenz gets a shot at drawing the book.

Not that I have anything against what Paul Levitz is doing, but he won't write LoSH forever...

I'm disappointed to see Nicieza go, since he put so much work into building up this series and so far it's been really good. I'll definitely reserve judgement on DeFalco for now; I have fond memories of some of his 90's Marvel stuff, but nostalgia has been known to color my perceptions...

Well, they are two different comic series. Legion of Super-Heroes takes place in the far future of the 31st century with the bulk of the Legion cast. Legion Lost is about a group of 7 Legionnaires trapped in the 21st century hunting an elusive 31st century villain bent on warping history.

They are two different, independent of each other, comic series. You don't have to read one to read the other (though it might enlighten you to some of he more subtle nuances of Legion lore if you do read both. But its hardly required)

Really sorry to see Fabian go. I'm really enjoying the title.

Not the biggest DeFalco fan, but I'm willing to see where he takes it.
