I applaud Gage for going in this direction with Striker, but I have to wonder if some of his choices will do more harm than good. Many people believe that most men are gay because they were molested or because they didn't have a relationship with their father. It disappoints me to see Gage going both places with Striker. And it certainly doesn't help to dispel the "all pedophiles are homosexual men" myth by making Striker's childhood attacker a man and a surrogate father figure. One step forward, two steps back.

I'm really impressed on the way this is being addressed! Bravo Mr. Gage!
Good to see more diversity showing up in comics from the big two, It's been somewhat slow going, but has amped up a bit over the last few years.
@XSE Drake
Judging by what Gage is saying, It appears to be a bit more nuanced than what you're fearing it could end up being.
Very excellent interview that Mr. Gage has done in answering about Striker's situation..... also was answered (in a roundabout way) was Julie's sexuality and this was done within the history of her character (POWER PACK, RUNAWAYS & LONERS).
Looking forward to Issue #23 and onwards for this series.
Gage does it again, the man knows how to write a damn good comic. Bravo sir, bravo
Child Of The Atom Smasher
Awesome preview. I really like the way Gage handled the subject.
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
I wish Gage the best of luck, because this is one interesting situation that he placed Striker in.
Still, I may check into it, if he can pull it off.![]()
I want to give Christos Gage many of my monies now
