I still think it's crazy we're getting Captain Britain on both Secret Avengers and X-Force...I think Brevoort said Avengers vs. X-men will place a strain on his relationship with Psylocke.

If there was a UK Masters of Evil Magpie would be one the team along with Baron Blood (or Baroness Blood), Major Oak, Sat-Yr-9 and Slaymaster.

I would very much like that line up.......the new Slaymaster should make an appearance again.

Zomg! They've coloured CB's suit correctly. And Meggan is there, too. And could that be Widget?

Betsy's old CB uniform doesn't fit in with X-Force's colour scheme, though.

I love that the Lady Briton uniform is the one she wore back in Captain Britain Monthly......I just hope it ends better for her....

Fantastic! A lot to be excited for if you're a fan. Perhaps it could drum up interest in the gang at MI:13 -- I embrace wildly unlikely fantasies too much on these forums as is, but if - just if - Brian's appearance is popular then a solo Captain Britain/Otherworld title alongside a MI:13 team book seems the only appropriate course of action for Marvel to take.

Well Bendis made Luke Cage an Avenger and his pet project, if Remender can do the same with CB I'd be very happy. Maybe when Bendis leaves Avengers.......

It's been two years or so since MI13 in which time new fans will have come on board who don't really know these characters, I think it's brilliant that someone may discover CB and Meggan through this.....and maybe then CB&MI13....

It's amazing is what it is! 2012 is shaping up to be the year of Captain Britain....looking foward to seeing Brian's reaction to Betsy's role in X-Force and how that could further be strained through AvX.

It just occurs to me that if Betsy retains her Lady Briton persona after this arc, along with Brian in SA and Jamie in the Ultimates, after 2 years of having no CB we'll suddenly have three different CBs across three titles!

Unfortunately, that is how Marvel tend to work. Frustrating at times, isn't it.

I'd love them to explain Widget, though. He long since evolved out of that form pictured. And last we saw of him he was at the right hand of Kang the Conqueror...

I see where you're coming from, but at least get to the first issue and see how he frames all this. Remender has made it known in interviews that he is aware of MI:13 and that Brian has left the team for , so it's not as though he is completely unaware of the series. Also Meggans back which only happened towards the end of MI:13, and going back to the old suit makes sense is Brian has to redistribute the power among the corp.

Marvel has been doing that since pretty much the series began so it should be a suprise. Girshler started that when he brought out Death of Dracula. However that said as an old school Brian and Meggan fan I've pined for years for the CB I last saw in Captain Britain Monthly.....if this can recapture that feeling I'm all for it.

I'm with you here mate, I'll see how it pans out, I have a lot of faith in Remender. Anyone that can make me like Deadpool must be good.

And I just love the Davis Default uniform.......it's all almost too good to be true.................but I'm not going to be cynical about this. I'm totally over the moon about it all!!!

I am very excited for this issue, butI have to ask, I know we're all glad that Betsy is covering her arse (and looking good in that costume for the most part) but am I the ONLY one who feels that Bets is showing a little too much cleavage??

I hope Meggan is more equal to Brian in the issue then she seems on the cover.
