Oh my, I dropped X-force to start picking it up in trade again but if there is going to be some sort of explanation for the otherworld stuff I might have pick it up again.
Garrg, I must get a CB t-shirt. Why is the closest asda a 7 hour boat trip!

Great News! A new Doctor Who Comic is coming this September
Also, look at this! Anyone read the first issue?
EDIT: Here is an article about it, better than the forum post that I got this information from!

I bought my CB t-shirt online Aelle mate. In all honesty I saw the lass in the local garage wearing it and it's kind of put me off.....weird eh? I want everyone to to know who CB is and the moment people actually start doing so I get annoyed.....comic fans...never happy hahaha!
Just read UXF and I'm not sure wether the whole Otherworld saga is going to be revealed as a manipulation...depends how this arc turns out. However that said it was a fantastic issue, a definite return to form for Remender. Using the terms ''Wally'', ''Arse'' and referencing 'The Troggs', 'The Zombies' and 'The Kinks' have all been big wins for me.
Haven't read the Doctor Who/STNG cross over (as ny LCS can't stock it) but I will do in collection. Looking forward to Who back in Sept!
To be honest the crossover might read better in trade, the first issue was largely set up and the TNG cast only appeared on the last page. Just an FYI the Dr Who comics are available through Comixology in the UK, as I'm guessing Panini don't have the rights to digital DW comics stories.
We hate Millwall, and we hate Millwall.....
Bring back Dai Thomas
I think I will get the graphic novel of the crossover then: I will definitely be getting the new Doctor Who in single issues though.

Lets talk UXF:
spoilers:end of spoilers
What happened to Betsy is a illusion: Professor X can walk and Angel's wings don't look like that any more.
This leads us to the Otherworld arc: obviously it is made reference to in this issue. I think that is an illusion too.
It seems there is plenty of references to a new Brotherhood of Mutants. I believe it will turn out that Jamie is a member of this group and his powers combined with Shadow King's is what has made these illusions. They are trying to take X-Force down and messing with Betsy's head seems to be how they will get rid of her. Lets be honest, it is easier than fighting her.
I think the biggest tip off to the Otherworld Arc being an illusion is that Betsy started crying and feels sorrow: something that is suppose to of been lost from her. The reason this happened is because she never lost anything, it has all been a manipulation.
I just wonder who will save her from her current predicament. Come on Captain Britain! Come save the day!!

Mmm. I may buy the X-Force graphic novel if the storyline does get better.
On a seperate note, it's nice to see Grant Morrison included in the Queen's Birthday Honours List. And that got me thinking, can fictional characters be knighted? The answer is highly likely to be no. But it would be great to see "Sir Brian Braddock" for services to film and literature above and beyond the call of duty. The Queen could wave her sword over a copy of Captain Briatin Weekly #1. (I think I'm suffering from lack of sleep though)
WE NEED YOU!!
Join in with Comicbookresources' Age of Marvels for fan-made and fan-approved solicitations!
I think that Moore needs to get a birthday honour though. Grant Morrison got a MBE. Moore should get a KBE.

i work in a Waterstones in north London,
the other day i was showing a kid our graphic novel section, he said Captain America was his favorite(kids!?),
just then a customer behind us said "Captain Britain is better",
i thought it would be funny if it happened to be one of you guys![]()
Hahaha thats class, does remind me that a couple of weeks ago I was with my 2 year old daughter at the park and a little kid asked me ''What superhero is that on your t-shirt?'' to which I replied ''Captain Britain''.......he then repeated it three times and ran off pretending to fly and then told his mum he was 'Cap'n Britain'..........I can only hope that seeds were sown....
Not quite on the same note, I was in London for Christmas last year and for the first time went in to the mega forbidden planet. There is a bit upstairs for toys and merchandise and a huge underground area for trades and books. On my way out (after many hours of browsing) I heard a young child gasp as he walked down the stairs and turn to his mum and said in amazement 'Its bigger than the Tardis in here'.
Ahh budding young nerdling everywhere. Nice to see.

For those interested, the recent collection spider-man the graphic novels reprints among other gems, Charles Vess' work spider-man spirits of the earth which is set in Scotland.
