The original series is genius and well worth your time if you can find the issues or the first Panini trade (where's the second one Panini??) but the relaunched more 'superhero' second series was a huge disappointment to me.
I know.........that always makes me a little sad but I suppose even the greatest talent has their slip ups....and we don't know how much editorial pressure there was.......it could be that Davis was just trying to polish a turd?
It would make for a very interesting story......and it also seems like too much of a panel in the Wisdom limited for it not to mean anything.......![]()
While I was never really a fan of the Night Raven stories that I've read, apparently the text stories that Alan Moore wrote about him were superb. I'd love to get a chance to read them some day.
I think the main problem with reprinting Night Raven (other than a possible lack of demand) is slogging through the various and sundry magazines where his stories were printed. Judging by the Marvel Appendix, he popped up in a lot of Conan and other reprint titles it might not be easy to gain access to.
I had my picture taken with Mark Waid. And I not only met Joe Kelly (writer of Deadpool, Superman, Spider-Man, etc.), he drew me a sketch of Deadpool. For free!

They are excellent. These are links to Alan Moore's Night Raven text stories:
The Cure
White Hopes, Red Nightmares
Sadie's Story
The Anaesthetic Wearing Off...
The Snow Queen
These all come from the website 4 Color Heroes
You will need something like Comic Book Reader to read them.
Well, there is no turning back now. I just bought Knights of Pendragon Vol.2 #1-15 for £10. Union Jack's appearance will annoy me but hopefully I'll enjoy it.
Next up on the list... Incomplete Death's Head and the Death's Head and Captain Britain graphic novels.

Incomplete was good for those that hadn't read the original Death's Head series (which was amazing....and collected by Panini into two brilliant volumes) and the framing sequences were well handled. If your a fan of Doctor Who then get ready for some lovely Marvel/BBC continuity intertwining.
If after that you need full completion of the DH stuff after reading that then Titan reprinted all the Transformers strips in which DH appeared originally in the volumes Fallen Angel and Legacy of Unicron.
If your aiming for the CB graphic novels then getting the two hardcovers of the pre-Moore/Davis stuff is the best bet....and then the omnibus if you haven't already. Frikking. Awesome.

You beat me to it!They're good stuff. We so need to see Night Raven again someday.
If only. How much creative input he had in the revamp is questionable, but he did design those costumes.
The whole Knights of Pendragon concept is a really strong oe to me. And one which need not be limited purely to Britain. There's no reason why it cannot cover the whole globe. The opriginal series did. As well as including characters like Iron Man, Dane and Black Panther.
It's actually probably an easier sell than MI13.
