Didn't Fandral come over to the UK and that is where the Robin Hood legend came from? I'd like to see him back, perhaps for a swashbuckling adventure in Otherworld.

I'd love CB and Dane to be still in it but based on everyone scattering leaving Faiza and Pete I think adding Elsa Bloodstone would be a no-brainer given her monster hunting. Also those magic swords of Kylun would come in very handy.....I think having Mortigan Goth on the team is a very good idea but he needs to be retconned from that awful version in Wolverine Best There Is.....it could always have been his doppleganger.

Besides those I'd want Motormouth, Dark Angel and Death's Head......not overly keen on DHII but if he has DHI personality as evidenced in Vampire State then I could be happy with that.

Thanks for starting the original thread. You did much for Captain Britain, MI13 and Marvel UK over the years. At least CB is going to have new adventures soon. I am hoping the Black Knight turns up somewhere.

And seconded. Thank you Sword, when I returned to comics a few years ago I thought I was in a Marvel UK fandom minority and your blog and this thread convinced me there's still some people out there that give a damn.

I've actually no idea if that was the case or not, but either way that would make for a pretty awesome story in my book.

I've long since wanted to see her involved with a British team. I know she's not technically British by birth, but having grown up in the UK I should imagine she considers it to be more like her home than the US.

I'm actually quite surprised that we haven't seen Kylun return. When it was confirmed he still had powers after M-Day I was hoping he'd be picked up on again. So far, obviously, it hasn't happened. A great shame.

I actually stopped reading the series three issues in. The mess they'd made of Mortigan was frustrating. Aside from his terribly literal revamped appearance it flat out contradicted his own story. Mephisto released Mortigan's soul to go out and reap vengeance ON Mortigan. He'd finished torturing it.

All wrong in my book, and a great damage done to the character.

I think that the DH1 personality will ALWAYS be the primary one. No doubts there. I'd love to see more of him, too.

Yes. Why haven't we seen Alison since the end of the Delano and Davis' Captain Britain run? Really. Such a great character, it's practically criminal.

Here here. Thanks for helping me fall in with love Marvel UK. I had some hazy memories of some comics from the 80's (mainly of Spider-Man fighting a guy in spikey golden armour) but now I'm a proud British fan. Thanks for the advice on which titles to go for. And I still remember and love your blog on Black Axe.

Pete Wisdom, Meggan and Excalibur are the remaining characters and the mainstays for a new line-up. Kylun and Elsa Bloodstone, 100% agreeing with everyone else, are fantastic inclusions. Motormouth and Killpower are probably my favourite Marvel UK characters so I would love to see them included. Dark Angel, Digitek and Tangerine, who are already MI13 agents, would round things off nicely.

What other good British based characters could be brought in? Albion. Chamber. Micromax. Lionheart. Tink. Red Dragon (There's two to choose from). Cerise. Leir. Caber. Mortigan Goth. Plasmer. Caledonia. Tuck. Stinger (I quite like her). Night Raven. G-Force. Lady Daemon.

I'd like to see the original Albion (Pete Hunter) back in action definitley. And Leir as MI13's answer to Thor would be brilliant!

Always wanted to see Colonel Liger turn up somewhere and that Black Axe would make an excellent drill sargent for new recruits.

As for UJ, yep if he's happy taking on terrorists then let him be, he's done enough vamp fighting over the years...but then again if Blade isn't on the team he may feel differently about membership....

Shang-Chi is a big draw for me, I'd like to see him used more given his ties to British Intelligence but he has a bad history with Pete so that may not be viable.

Cerise was last seen back in space, and Night Raven, though created by Marvel UK, was never based in Britain. The others I agree with. And there's tons of others from the Marvel UK heyday - Tigon Liger, any of Genetix or the Super-Soldiers, etc.

Yes, Canadian, though he was largely US-based. He did wander the world while hunting Yi Yang though, so if he believed she'd relocated to the UK he'd swiftly do the same.
