It's about damn time an official female mutant character was added to the TMNT mythos. That was always the one thing about Laird's piloting that bothered me, he just was so against females it felt.

Apparently this issue (Raphael Micro-series) has been delayed until next week because of shipping problems with Diamond, so it is not in stores now. I'm loving the new series so far.

His genius has been shown quite a bit in the comics, especially when glimpses of the future Turtles are given. In fact, Don is Peter Laird's favorite Turtle, hence the reason a lot of Laird's solo stories featured Don. Originally Posted by Hypestyle
The same could be said of Mike's creative side. It was only shown a few times in the early Mirage books and touched on a couple of times in Tales Volume 2 but the Image series really let Mike's character shine.
