Default CBR: EXCLUSIVE: Waid Reveals Origins and Pits "Incorruptible" Against "Irredeemable"

CBR asked Waid what comes next for the two ongoing series. "I know this sounds like generic comic book puffery but I don't know any other way to say it, is that at the end of the throwdown at least one of these men walks away from it radically, radically different than he is now," Waid said. "I mean, radically, game-changingly different. And that will not necessarily make the world a better place."
Wow--how much worse off can Irredeemable's world get? That book is way too dark for me...

Wow - I've been reading Irredeemable since Day 1. While I haven't read news about the series religiously or paid too much attention to the Editor's Page in the back of the book, I had no idea the two books took place in the same universe, or I would have been buying both this whole time.

I STILL have no idea why Plutonian flip the f___ off like he did.

Still, I really, really want to see Star city gets blown up. Is it sick? Yeah. But It kind of like wanting to find out something juicy.

    Default Mark Waid

Mark Waid has become by far the most reliably entertaining currentl comic book writers. And its commendable that the talented individuals he works with on InCorruptible and Irredeemable consistantly meet their deadlines. I am looking forward to this 4-part crossover between Max and the Plutonian.

But I think in Paragraph 9 of the article where it says --

Waid said he is "weary of giving people the wrong impression."

that it should say "wary" not "weary".
