Mutant Magazine is proud to open its doors to contributors! The time has come to make out of this idea a true Magazine for the enjoyment of all!

Effective immediately, the second volume of Mutant Magazine is now open to everyone! Do you want to write an article? Submit a photomanipulation? Participate in the building of a Magazine? This is the place for you!

• The character for the month/cover will be published every 30th on this very thread.
• You will have fifteen days to submit an entry (it can be an article, or an infographic, or whatever you want!), submissions will be accepted from the 30th until the 15th of the subsequent month.
• The issue will debut each month on a fixed date (the 20th!) and in order to make this experience as interactive as possible we shall require our readers to voice their opinion!
• Each new issue will be published on a separate thread, with a multiple choice poll with every contributor.
• Our esteemed readership will choose her/his favorite/s and the winner will have the honor of submitting a character for the next cover!

Each "winner" will pick a character for the next month. The next issue should revolve around that character, but not necessarily so. It will serve as an inspiration for those that want to use it. The chosen character will be featured in Mutant Musings, the new interview section by Manoli Wetherell. The person who picked the character (a.k.a. the winner of the previous month) can write the interview if she/he so chooses, but is not obliged to do so. I believe picking a single character to focus on might be easier than an entire story. The winner might suggest cover ideas for the issue as well.

Submissions will be done via PM to the EIC (yours truly) as well as the prospective covers for the next month (which should be sent between the 1st and the 3rd of each month). As the EIC I will post it on this thread to start inspiring the rest!! Places 2 to 4 will earn the right to have their next stories/column on the cover as well!! If you win a month but decide not to participate on the following month you will be required to inform us and then the next one in line (number of votes) will step up! That’s the beauty of this Magazine, you don’t have to do it every month, it’s just for fun!!

Now a little rule about the articles/submissions: Anyone can do it HOWEVER you must remember that this is a scandal magazine, think National Enquirer, and every article/submission must be done as if you were in the X-Universe. This means you can totally take the identity of your favorite character and write as her/him!!! Characters will be given on a first come first serve basis, so if you’re sure you want to participate and have an idea for a column (From the Wall for example) be sure to claim it on this thread ASAP!!

This thread will be used by contributors to discuss ideas, brainstorm and general discussion! Readers are welcome to throw ideas as well!!! Let’s start building a true magazine and have fun!!
