    Default CBR: Axel-In-Charge - Nov 23, 2011

In honor of the holiday weekend, Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso gives thanks to the fans by dipping deep into the mailbag of their questions on Marvel's diversity, Stuart Immonen's next gig, Blade's future and more.

Well this was pointless. None of the questions were even answered really: just beating around the bush.

    C'mon Marvel, really?

And I laughed at that "diversity is all we do" line that Alonso said. Which is horribly ironic considering their output now.

    What question wasn't answered?
I know Kevin Nichols through a guy that knows a gal. Small world!

Wow, what a jerk response to the "All-Winner Squad" question...

Exactly. Like I keep saying: Marvel sucks.

Although its not a surprise I have to say Iam disappointed by Alonso's answer about ALL-WINNERS. I don't quite see how Marvel can justify that (its not like they cancelled a series they'd announced with this one, they had actually STARTED IT and have more prepared) I just don't think its very business conscious of Marvel.

    Cheers.

"No current plans at this time" is so mean!

    I liked this one:

Only reason they continue to play a role is because the book is so late.

U know I complained about Joe not answering questions but he did a way better job then Axel does. Still the main point of this is the early preview art.

Yeah same here. Marvel can tell us that again when the Avengers Teams are not so straight white male dominated exception being Avengers Academy. Also when they do something of note in an event going crazy does not count.

Still BP moving to NYC was suppose to make him more connected it did not so lets see if they remedy that in 2012, I am not holding my breath.

Well the last issue was suppose to be in December right so technically he would still be accurate. Even though Hulking does nothing.

Striker was molested by a perverted old man as a child so of course it turns out he's gay.

Patriot shot Wanda and gave Doctor Doom reality warping powers. Iron Lad keeps taxiing them around time and space. Stature brought her dead father back to life.

#1 of the bimonthly series shipped in July 2010, it should have wrapped this month. It's still rolling on til next February now.
