He's one of the best writers of the past few years. You people better buy this. That said, I hope he doesn't "soften" Hope for the haters. They tried that with Emma, and it only empowered Jean Grey fans further.

Hope letting her aide de camp Teon mentally rape the Couscous bodes well for a "hardened" Hope.
Asmus's first Gen Hope issues was one of the best floppies i've read all year. Buy this book. Don't bellyache - support good comics.
Tee-hee.She's not necessarily the smartest person, but she is the most intellectually dedicated person.

I'm buying it now. So far I'm enjoying it. I really enjoy Hope as a character. Don't care much for the rest of her team, but hopefully they'll grow on me like Idie did during 'Schism.' I like the new artist and look forward to Cable showing up in this book at some point in the future too.
What's with the interviewer? Did he neglect one salient member of the cast?
Yeah, because we're all dying to know more about window-dressing like Velocidad.
Part 2 better be all about her.

So, we need to be told that Emma and Scott are afraid of Shaw, and not one word about why Namor doesn't off this scumbag? Or that Emma is worried about Namor catching her in a lie?
I loved his first issue. I'm going to keep buying. I'm excited with the Zero/No-Girl relationship. Already, he's done wonderful things.
I am sure Namor doesn't care about Shaw. He cares about Emma's disobedience.
