If the shoe fits: "a crankly old man standing just on the edge of a crowd gathered for a concert and stamping his feet yelling at the crowd to stop having fun, that they don't know what fun is."
I am kind of iffy on this issue. On the one hand I didn't mind the dialogue, as I like plenty of it in my comics, but I am starting to wish there was a little more development of the overall plot. I also wanted an alternative romance interest, which seemed to be taken away pretty quickly. Still I enjoyed it, but hope it moves a little quicker next few issues.
Stuff like this makes me wonder if this team is waiting for the team in Action comics to finish their story arc. Maybe there is something preventing Perez from going in any direction character wise because the Action story isn't finished yet. Just a thought.
The story has to come to some kind of conclusion soon cause Perez last issue is 5 or 6, I think.
But that cover to issue 4 is gorgeous.

Not a bad issue, but this has definitely been my least favorite of my re-reading of the New 52 Superman. There was some decent action between Superman and the ice alien, but there was just waaaaay too much boring discussion doing on in the newsroom and not enough meat on the bones, plus the art seemed to feel a little flat thanks to the guest artist not being nearly as good as Merino. Overall I just wasn't feeling issue #3 like I did with the spectacular first issue and the amazing second issue, I wonder how the rest of the series will fare with my re-reading, I hope a lot better than issue #3, that's for sure.
