I love Eduardo Risso. I picked up Chicanos and Video Noir because of the man's art. 100 Bullets has some of the best art I've ever seen in comics.

I agree about Risso. His art was the only saving grace to the Marvel Knights Logan series (re: the one that established Wolverine surviving the Hiroshima bombing).
