I think that only one more issue with Mirror in Batgirl #4 and we will have once again a more confident and fully realized Batgirl again in BOTH books!

Also I LOVE what I read there in the article, the Birds Of Prey have NEVER been better! I am having a total geek-gasm! The only way this could be topped is if in a few years this team gets it's own cartoon!

I hope you're right about what can be accomplished in four issues. I am skeptical but hopeful.

Excited to see Babs join up. Really hoping Ivy isn't planning on selling out the Birds to "pay the tab." That'd be awfully predictable.

Meh, tried to care about Babs as Batgirl but couldn't. Her joining the birds does not at to her appeal.

The best part of this news is that if the Batgirl book doesn't get any better, I can safely drop it and still get some Babs action here as BOP has been fantastic since the relaunch.

This is terrific news! I'll buy any comic series featuring the Barbara Gordon version of Batgirl -- luckily, I'm reading Birds of Prey already. It's soooooo good. Batgirl will be the cherry on the top of this tasty cake.

"I just think it’s courteous. I hate, HATE finding out one of “my” characters is appearing somewhere and I didn’t know. It happened with Batgirl in the new Birds of Prey (but it was totally a mistake, not anything intentional, and the writer has been a doll about it, so no worries there)"

Yes, that was it, at least publicly. Honestly it amazes me that no one told Simone that they were going to put Batgirl on a team that is on the run from, well, everybody it seems, and that they were going to do it the same month she wraps up her "rebirth of Batgirl" story.

I'm looking forward to this, but editorial handled it ham-handedly. I'm glad it has been smoothed over and hope that there has been some coordination of this going forward.
