Yeah I wanna read where Wolverine was supposedly being racist to Prodigy. I never heard about that one.

Its true he's not reached the heights of Murphy in the 1980's. But overall , Murray seems to have done better films as he has gotten older. He's not pushing to stay at the top of the box office anymore. He can do smaller films like "Rushmore" , "Lost in Translation" and "Broken Flowers" which show he doesn't give a crap about being a huge star anymore.

Plus if you read his bio , Murray has turned down a shit load of money making parts. One he did regret was Little Miss Sunshine and his part went to Steve Carroll.

I think with Murray he realizes he could do movies and try to be a huge box office star. But he'd rather do movies he wants to do...even if they aren't wide released or small budget flicks.

Yeah but we were specifically talking about comedies SNL actors starred in. That's why I left out films like Delirious, Raw, Shrek, and Mulan. Bill Murray's resume doesn't stack up against Eddies unless you start including his dramatic work and supporting roles.

Shoulda coulda woulda, lots of actors turn down great roles that could have made them tons of money.

Meatballs , Stripes, Caddyshack , What About Bob , Groundhog Day , ...I think Murray wasn't hurting in the comedy department here. He just wanted to do more. In fact its a bet he would have done more with Ramis but an argument on Groundhog Day killed their relationship. Because Murray wanted to make the movie have a character have a big introspection into his life and learn a lot...Ramis wanted a straight comedy.

I think with Murray after the mid 90's he was like...I have done all the movies and did that. Now I can do what films I want and take departures from things.

Eddie sadly can't seem to get from the shell his career is in right . The audience sadly just can't seem to follow him now to these other attempts. I know he wants to make a new Beverly Hills Cop movie. More or less to break away from the Disney and PG 13 movies he's stuck in.

But if we follow his career sadly Murphy have flicks that are just sad bombs right after the Disney/PG 13 flicks.

    Metro 1997 (Action film)
    Holy Man 1998 (Comedy/Drama)
    Showtime 2001 (Action/Comedy)
Adventures of Pluto Nash 2002 (Sci-Fi/Comedy)
    I Spy 2002 (Comedy)

I think the real last movies Murphy did well outta the box he's stuck in with fans was "Life" , "Bowfinger" and "Dreamgirls". The rest are him in PG 13 fair and Disney flicks.

And I will tell you right now... "A Thousand Words" is already getting the same negative critic reaction and was held 3 years back. Its that bad...the studio only released it in 2012 to finally get it out and when Murphy was originally gonna host the Oscars.

Shoulda coulda woulda, lots of actors turn down great roles that could have made them tons of money.
I don't think Murray cared for how well it would do. He just thought it was a great role and movie after he saw it.

    AHHAHAHAHA...

Look that place is the just Bizarro Universe version of Live Journal.

Actual AA fangirls used to post on LJ all the time (probably still do).

I always found it REALLY telling that the more relatable to actual sisters that Storm became under McDuffie and Hudlin, the louder the usual suspects screamed in outrage about it.

No...I'm more or less joking about the link. I still wanted to see Wolverine be a racist to Prodigy.

Possibly because they ignored damn near everything about her personality that had been established since Claremont created her way back when? Let's rewrite a favorite of yours and see how you like it.
