It's all good. It sure as hell didn't look good from anyone's end and after all the stuff that's happened with these heroes, no one should give Marvel or DC the benefit of the doubt, ever.

Although... this kind of does make Hickman's statement about writing minorities understandable. Put a character in standard jeopardy type situation, bam, you're a racist. Don't do it, you've just thrown them on the team as an unused token, you're a racist.

All writers get criticism. There is very little point in having thin skin about it. Once you put your work out there people will pick it apart.

And who are these people calling writers racist? Most of the time folks are just pointing out that the treatment of the character helps maintain a racist status quo. Usually it is over zealous fans accusing someone of calling the creator racist when they said no such thing.

I remember liking the first film, but then I went and read the comic and I thought it was godawful. Since then I've had nothing but a bad taste for Sin City in my mouth. I'll have to rewatch the first film, but the comics all suck.
