It's sad that a fan film is better looking then the professional one.

Michael Jai White is who should really be Luke Cage (I too love Terry Crews for the look, and he can be genuinely intimidating, but White's a better actor).

I fervently believe that Black Panther shouldn't get a movie, but if he does, Isaiah Mustafa would be a good fit, most of all because it would consolidate my dislike for the two pretty well.

I don't think White is big enough TBH. He has the look, acting ability, and build of Falcon IMO.

Fourthly, why the fuck has that bullshit not been retconned? Everyone realizes that Snap Wilson is a horrific, terrible idea for the character who started out a Social Work/Civil Rights activist. They need to bring Sam's Origin back to those roots. Even with the weaker powers, a strong ideal focused partner to Captain America would be a good start. Snap Wilson would be a terrible one.

IMO, they should retcon the whole Snap Wilson back story/personality (which was itself, a retcon) to being an undercover identity that Sam used in order to infiltrate a major crime gang in order to bring them to justice and that the Red Skull learned about after catching him and used the Cube to twist his mind to make him believe that Snap Wilson was his true personality. I would also retcon the whole idea of the Skull using the Cube to give Falcon his mental link to Redwing and reveal another cause/reason for their mental link.

It was pretty freakin bad. I told my friend about that issue where we learned Falcon's secret origin of being a pimp and he was stunned at that. Maybe its why Marvel rarely mentions it anymore. I'd just go with the fact it was an illusion created by the Red Skull to torture Sam Wilson mentally .

Two things. One, it was the 70s. Which means occasionally, you wrote something stupid in the name of being irreverent, because that's what people did in the 70s. Two, it's not the weirdest, potentially most offensive thing Englehart had ever done.

I cant think of a single Marvel character he could credibly play.

So unless TI is gonna play Falcon's loser brother, Lil Cracky, its gonna fail.

Say what you will about Sticky playing Blade, at least Sticky sorta kinda looked tough.

Casting TI as ANY black hero is called flavor of the moment casting. You want whoever is popular to a certain demographic while hoping the rest of us will watch the film.

Sadly that is never a successful deal. When you have them in big roles.

We saw that with Steel (Shaq), Lottery Ticket (Bow Wow), Catwoman (Halle Berry) and will see that with Kim Kardashian in Tyler Perry's upcoming filming this fall.

If he is cast as the Falcon or any black hero. Marvel is just trying to get extra coverage from Vibe, BET and other black media outlets that normally ignore them.

That's why is has been so hard to cast a black hero in a film.

You put Arlen Escapeta, Arjay Smith, Lee Thompson Young, James Tyler Williams and Donald Glover. A lot of the black media and community will tune that film out. Because these guys have manage to do something that not many can do-appeal to people outside their race. They have made decent careers without doing Tyler Perry films or "degrading" black films or going in and out of the jail house. 4 of these guys have television shows either on now, airing in the summer or in the fall. They have 2 black cast films among them.

I think casting TI would damage the film because who outside of his fans would want to see a 7 time felon on the big screen?

In fairness, Dum Dum is also a different character type than Sam. Just because Dum Dum is taller, doesn't mean Sam should be.
