The Cabin In The Woods is freaking fantastic and the super secret cameo is up there with Wolverine in XM:FC and Bill Murray in Zombieland. I was disappointed that I was able to figure out the whole film 1/3 of the way in, but it's also kind of SUPPOSED to be predictable due to it flaunting the cliches in typical Whedon fashion, however I wasn't supposed to figure it all out that fast. Drew Goddard my be new to the industry, but he is definitely someone I'm going to keep an eye on because he's got some talent. If you are a fan of horror films this is a must see. If you want a good laugh I would also recommend this film.

I would also like to add that there is only one minority played by Brian White, however he is the moral standing supporting character and I don't think they showed him die on screen (which given how the film ends it wouldn't matter anyway). In short besides the teens, he's the only good guy in the film.

Trent Richardson is going to prom.

The former Alabama running back and Heisman finalist will take time out of his workout schedule to accompany 17-year-old Courtney Alvis, a leukemia survivor, to her senior prom at Hueytown (Ala.) High School on Saturday.

Wow, getting a little dusty in here.

Alvis spent the past year going through chemotherapy. She said she couldn't leave the house for fear of germs on her compromised immune system. She used a walker to get around. She missed her junior prom because doctors said she had to wear a mask and gloves to attend. And as her senior prom approached she had trouble getting a date.

That's when her uncle, who had ties to the Alabama program, stepped in and started putting the word out. Richardson heard about Alvis and decided to help.

"I'm really excited but I'm also nervous," Alvis told television station WSFA. "I've watched Trent all the time on TV, and he's going to be coming to prom with me."

This is one of those great feel-good stories where an athlete uses his fame for good. Richardson is just a couple weeks away from the NFL draft, the biggest day of his life, and he's taking time out to make this young lady's prom all that she hoped it would be
