Various persons, businesses and oranizatons have had a "donate" or "get involved" button on thier individual websites for ages now.

All Kickstarter does is centralize those kinds of efforts.

Yep yep. I used to work in the non-profit sector. Successful organizations, causes, and pledge drives must have some sort of business and marketing model in lace when asking for donations from the local, government, and corporate levels. In fact, it's usual to find someone in the Development Department and the org's Board of Directors with a business degree, or even an MBA. It's just how the sector works -- treat an NPO like a business, but instead of reaping profits, that money goes to the org and donations. But it still must operate like a business.

Just finishd watching d 1st 4 eps of COMMON LAW showing on USA......IT. IS. A. FANTABULOUSLY. AWESOME. SHOW.

D show is clearly 4 Michael Ealy (though its a buddy cop tv series but Ealy is clearly in d lead) & he's doing really REALLY gr8 ...we strongly recommend y'all 2 chek it out.

We usually gv max of 3 eps on any nu series b4 mking judgement.....it truely has gr8 potential .

Yes it is a good show...definitely a lot better than I was expecting...both actors do a great job of their respective roles
