I think War Machine can work. It should be similar to Venom IMO. Just needs solid writing and art. Never would have thought Hulk starring Rulk would work. Spencer just did a horrible job.

It's not that it can't ever work, just what is more or less likely to. Venom seemed like a outside shot as well. Although being tied into the Spider-Man franchise probably helps more than Iron Man.

I have read all of Garth Ennis famous works, many others but The Pro i reacted to what the ***** like Scarlett Johansson did. I might read it now if its really funny. But it seemed too messed with a hooker lead and i know Ennis can be really weird.

So Sabra, the only Israeli superhero was assassinated by Crossbones.

Let me rephrase that, Sabra, the only Israeli superhero who was a single mother was killed by a Neo-Nazi Rapist which they make a joke about a sandwich.

I'm sorry, but how is this not more offensive than Aquaman 7? At least the Middle Eastern woman in that comic had a chance to fight back and was in several pages before she died. Here? Sabra is shot and killed in the second page she's on by a NEO-NAZI RAPIST! This probably won't even come up again either cause it was a one-shot tie in!

The only reason why the Aquaman 7 thing became a controversy, and not just something a few people got mad about in a message board, was because of a creator's letter.

I just hope another one (or more) come at Marvel's way real soon.

Now this is a perfect example on why Hickman feels uncomfortable writing minorities. It's not that they are hard to write, it's that fans will have a negative reaction when something bad happens to them. I guarantee that whoever wrote that saw them as characters first.
