    Default Catwoman #3 Preview/Discussion SPOILERS

    http://comics.ign.com/articles/121/1212408p1.html

Exactly what I wanted to see. Catwoman being a bad ass and throw away villains getting thrown away.

Cool, if there's something that I like about Judd Winick is how he expands the rogue's gallery from the character he's working on. This Bone guy looks pretty interesting personality wise, let's see how good his motivations are.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

Bone looks stupid but I love this book. Guillem March rules and the writing is really entertaining.

Anyone else get a kick out of the old pilot goggles in the flashback? Making it seem as if she's always had a thing for goggles or something. Big ol' goggle fan. Oh the torture Chippy must endure =P

Every now and then, Catwoman has to re-confirm that she is indeed a bad-ass. I was actually disappointed when the preview ended, so that's a good sign. Things tend to be looking up for this book. Not sure about #5-6 being single issue stories already, but I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

I take it that Lola was a young (looks teenaged) Selina's mentor like how Selina would grow up to mentor Holly? I kinda like that dynamic. Too bad Lola got knocked off so early in the series. Hopefully we'll get the occasional flashback since I dig her character.

I liked Lola a lot too. But this all kind of worries me, because I'm one of the few Catwoman fans that holds Year One close to his heart... I just hope it's still canon in the Selina Kyle storyline.

Somewhere NoChips is thrilled (also for the fact that it shows Selina with long hair :-D).

You know, I can get where Bones is going with this. I mean, of course he's taking it to a pretty bad extreme, but seriously, who likes having their stuff stolen?

I thought it was hilarious. "Yeah I was the little bastard that other, meaner little bastards used to pick on growing up. Well now I have money and buy stuff so I can pretend I wasn't. And I just picked a fight with you, Catwoman."

I have NEVER cared about Catwoman...Until now. The first two issues were epic. I bought them for my daughter...But I needed to read them first to make sure they were kid friendly... Turns out they were NOT kid friendly but I ended up adding this title to the top of my favorites list...What a great series and although I was not a huge Guillem March fan when he did Gotham City Sirens...He is phenomenal with this title.

"The chair is wood and that fall loosened my legs"

Now why did she have to say that out loud?

Ha! You'd be surprised. I actually like them here along with her aviator jacket and the loose long hair. Very Amelia Earhart?

She looks good on that page doesn't she? As for being thrilled, when it comes to DCE and Catwoman, I've learned to look the gift horse in the mouth, what God giveth, God taketh away, etc. etc.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think it's meant to show defiance (Bone telling her to speak and her saying how she's broken loose), but it just kinda fell flat. Oh well.
