Held by force becasue of their race or political affiliation? That seems to make it a concentration camp, not one the the Germans ran in the 40s, more like the ones that the US ran in the 40s

Gage has proven repeatedly that he knows how to handle complex conflicts and is able to find creative, satisfying resolutions for them. I doubt we'll have to fear anything heavy-handed like "lol, look! Concentration camps! Dur, Avengers so nazi!" from him. If anything, I expect the younger generation of heroes to eventually overcome their differences peacefully, just to show the silly grown ups that they can do better than them. It would be amusingly ironic to see the youth behave like adults while Scott and Cap are busy comparing their genitalia.

The lighter, more peaceful New X-men (and Hellion) already left for JGIHL, this is Surge's group we're talking about. No way she's not gonna throw a tantrum.

Oh, there will definitely be some butting heads, especially in the beginning, but I'm quite confident at this point that Gage will manage to steer this story towards an interesting conclusion and represent all parties in a balanced way.

Laura will come to offer her support and renew her friendships; Nori will whine and bitch and sass and moan and call her names. Laura will think "sod this" and walk away, leaving the rest of the Utopia NXM aghast at Nori's conduct.

Later that night Surge will be pinned to her bunk by a blanket and beaten with bars of soap in socks.

Well that does sound like the kind of crappy characterization Gage would use.

Except for Laura trying to extend friendship to anyone. That would be acknowledging any of the personal growth Laura experienced in her solo.

You know too me the most significant event to happen in Liu's run is that Laura now likes spicy foods

Gage might be abloe to handle it well , if anyone can he is the man to do it/

I'm just puzzled how he can keep folks like Dust and Armor and Pixie who consider themselves soldiers from leaving if they choose/. they can't scare them into staying they can't contain them without massive force. Dust at least is tougher than hell, grew up in a version of hell, and is an experienced killer of people that harm people she cares about.

Pixie's main ability is magic based, so presumably she can be kept from teleporting via magic.
Armor's in the JGS and not in Utopia, so she's not going to show up at AA
As for Dust... we'll have to see her rational for not flaying the flesh off of anyone trying to keep her there by force.

I kinda wish Armor or Hellion WERE included, since none of the X-kids who get taken to AA are particularly powerful or difficult to contain (Dust would probably be the hardest).
they could use a heavy hitter.

As previously mentioned - the concentration camp cover is just for provocative, dramatic effect and will have nothing to do with the actual story within the issue. The Utopia X-kids will be invited into the Academy where Uncle Hank Pym will regale them with tales of quantum mechanics and the wonders of kissing robots until they all quickly fall asleep; not to wake up until AvX is well over.
