Poor Trance. What a great character. I have to imagine that the main reason she has had almost zero appearances of late is because her given name is 'Hope' and the writers don't want her confused with the 'mutant messiah' they've been jamming down our collective throats...
Emma's just a mother inside!

See, now I think those scans make Kevin's personal story less legitimate. How do we know Kevin really died a villain? He and Blink were both on Selene's team, but Blink apparently gets a pass. Where as Kevin was murdered by Elixir. How do we know Kevin wasn't under Selene's black magic control?
Next time they'll be going after the students and they're retrieving Sabertooth to continue be used as an enforcer, it could still happen. I can't say I mind the New X-men not going on Angel's space adventure. They're specifically at the school because they don't want to get sucked into suicidally dangerous situations. Just not at the stage where they think this kinda thing is fun anymore.
It's funny. I see this scan of Emma being so good to Wither. Yet this boy held nothing, but malice towards Emma during Necrosha. Shameful.

I believe it was shown how Selene manipulated a traumatized Blink into thinking the x-men were the enemies and Blink did try to derail her plan during Necrosha, while Wither was just enticed into going to the dark side by being offered Selene's boobs. I guess that counts as manipulation on teenage boy levels.
One thing I didn't like about Necrosha (okay, there were many things I didn't like about Necrosha, not all of them Wither-related) was the repeated implication that Wither was always like that, and thus Selene didn't corrupt him that much. Just listen to some of his dialogue: "I've always hated you, Professor Logan." "Do you have any idea how long I've fantasized about killing you, Josh?" M-Day wouldn't have been that long ago with the sliding timescale, so I guess the implication is that Wither felt this way even during the time period of Academy X. Which... blatantly wasn't the case. I say this as a Wither fan and, more importantly, as a continuity fan: would it have killed the writers to have done some research?
