My point is, That there are people in Marvel, who are seeking to derail what he established as 'norms' for the character. That there are elements at Marvel content with a less-threatening Match as Sidney Poitier type. Rather than what Fraction presented, an ebullient intelligent super human king.
That Marvels attempt to trick Yost, then a rookie writer, to play nice, failed! As his King, although less adept and well-written still; disturbed the larger xenophobic majority of aging comic book readers. He married and handled Cap several times if memory serves.
Imho I don't think he ( Fraction ) would be happy with Marvel pushing 'all of his work aside' to cater to there new vision for the character. Especially when elements of his story-telling are used to reinforce over characters are Marvel and at DC. To me, it's just jealously plain and simple.
I love Bishop now that he's a murderer. I never liked him before.

This is why I always talk about the peak human thing. Keeping it out there...I'm trying to pin point where this became the norm. Because it was never stated in books. Fraction, while he pacified haters saying he was peak human, in the books he was writing something totally different.
Logically, if Captain America is the perfect human and is as perfect as a human can be...and Match is faster and more agile...that would mean that he is above peak human right?
Fraction comes alone and is totally blunt with his stuff, like having Match frak up Sabretooth, move faster then Wolverine, etc..etc..
Looking at the source books, and older comics...and how different characters progressed and how Match was de-evolved and never allowed to have stat drift...just dumbed down...it's really a sad thing...because the biggest issue with character is some folks working at Marvel.
The Scans I just posted are written by Dan Abnett, who just wrote VFH 0.1. I think that is from 1992-1993...so when folks try to act like Match isn't a master fighter...i'm wondering what they are talking about.
I know Yost got trashed for writing similar things...like Karnak one shot and giving Luke Cage pointers while fighting...when it seems he is spot on in these cases.
We have found our XPOTM for November.
Pretty much. The only questions come down to the circumstances that cause her to go on the killing spree. Basically Bishop has to be right because there is no event if Hope is not piling up dead human bodies.
Now what causes her to start killing is the question. Plenty of options I suppose, heck it could be Team Judas, they kill hope and that causes the PF to rez her and send her on a rampage. Still it sucks to be in SF most likely.
I just put it down to blatant discrimination mixed with an in your face dash of bigotry which is kind of ironic when one takes into consideration that the whole premise behind the X-franchise i anti-discrimination.
But then again, you have The Uncanny X-Force where the pre-emptive murder of a reborn Apocalypse was recently sanctioned and carried out by Fantomex in #4 with Wolverine in full agreement come #5 of the same book.
Yes that's right the same Wolverine who prevented Blade from staking a vampirized Jubilee had no problem with Fantomex shooting a child in the head jusyt because that child would grow up to become Apocalypse.
I'd be laughing at the irony if the hypocrisy wasn't so nauseous.
There is no excuse for the way in which the X-Office has been allowed to derail the Match's storyline and Marvel editorial or whoever's in charge should be ashamed for allowing one part of the House Of so-called Ideas to hold the rest of their shared universe to ransom just to mollify their fanbase whilst disenfranchising other readers.
That constitutes discrimination whichever way one looks at it and it's the kind of bigotry most fans of the X-Franchise would be quick to highlight if the shoe was on the other foot.
Idie is probably more interesting than any other X-character has ever been.
