Last issue of AA left a sour taste in my mouth. I actually enjoyed it though it made me feel sorry/mad about the way the X-Kids are being treated. Wolvie actually agreed to the Avengers kids using violence if the X-Babies don't behave ? That's just sick and unhealthy from both perspectives. Don't the Avengers fear that their proteges will turn out to be villains ? Encouraging that kind of comportment is certainly not gonna help and from the mutants perspective I don't see how it would make them feel welcome or protected.

Well said. And truth be told, I think that when push comes to shove, the NXM will fight back with everything they have. They are a family, however scattered they are these days, and no one messes with one of them without consequence.

Based on solicits, it unfortunately looks like Shaw and the Academy kids themselves will be doing most of the fighting.

I really hope Shaw does some awful things to these gits. AA and NXM alike, I just want to see the Black King gut angsty teens. The Stepford C's are a non-factor thanks to Pym's anti-psi technology and with the possible exception of Dust, no one here has a powerset that compares to Shaw. Hell Hercules alone will give him enough power in the first five minutes to kill everyone there.

IMO, not really. Loa can easily kill him given her powers destroys matter. Surge and Striker could electrocute him. Hazmat can go nuclear which is actually possible if Mettle gets hurt since he is immune anyway.

Shaw's prior fights with the likes of Storm has proven his resiliency against electrical attacks. Besides, Loa is a reluctant fighter with little experience, and Hazmat going nuclear is completely unlikely because she'll kill all her teammates doing it. So basically, it's a field of battle that completely favors Shaw. I support him murdering these children and making Tigra watch. Not that he would, because he's classy, but it'd be nice.

IMO, storm should just suffocate him. Its quicker. I hate the tendency of writers to just have Storm ineffectually spam lightning. On topic pretty sure Loa's ability is passive upon activation, she just has to let him try to punch her it does not require battle experience which she recently got some in Namor's most recent solo and Fear Itself. She did after all cut off a Worthy's Arm.
