Madison, Rao, Pym and Tigra want to keep all of the kids out of any fighting. If you feel the NXM are "concentration camp prisoners", then you have to feel the same way about the AA kids.

Maybe I see the whole thing differently because I'm not Pro-A or Pro-X, I love characters in both franchises dearly, and I'm just reading the books rather than trying to act like a wounded party for my "side".

Hell no. Maybe Velocidad got a little feisty but they were both speaking the truth. How was anything she said 'bitching'? And if you look closely, you will see Loa following Surge.
