Mr. Puffin Rabbit won 2-1 over Sonic Koala (Week 13 Make-up)

Great games, Koala! You cracked the It Came From Underground!! deck wide open in that second match!

I remembered that you dropped that deck on me in game 2 to finish me off in our last match, so I took a chance and played one of my weenie decks with no cards over 5 Power. Its already a solid deck, but it really shone against yours because you couldn't lock me down.

As for the rest, I just couldn't get going in either. Even though I knew you'd likely drop your Healing deck on me in game 3, I foolishly went with a deck that I know doesn't have the staying power against a deck like that and it cost me the match. As always, great games against you. Looking forward to some fun ones in the near future to test out some newer builds.

I forgot to post this before running off for family night, but

Sonic Koala squeeked out a 2-1 win over Night Gremlin Janitor

Close games all, and it was extra fun to talk with him during them over the CBox chat channel (more info on that in BB Ghost's sig line).

Koala is absolutely right, those were excellent games (well, I kinda got my butt handed to me in the first one), but they were SO much better thanks to the Cbox! Being able to groan at a lucky block, taunt your opponent after a huge hit, or congratulate them when they make a great play - it just really makes the game experience so much more fun. I recommend it highly to everyone!

In other news, Night Gremlin defeats Sun Scythe 2-1. Games 1 and 3 were VERY close, like "down to the last 2 cards in each player's hand" close. Excellent, tense matches Sun! Thanks for them.

When I play random players I win around 90% of the time. League play is a completely different animal.

And that right there is a great example of what Mason just said. Today: I beat Wombat, Wombat beat Hamster, Hamster beat me (he hasn't posted his win yet). It's the Circle of Superhero Life!

Regardless of win/loss record, I haven't YET played someone where I felt like I was in for either an easy win or a futile effort. Great competition!
