Mason, you can have nothin' but love from me. Whoo-wee.. the Card League is a beast to wrangle and keep track of, especially by one's lonesome. So y'all better appreciate Mason!
(...I don't know why I have come back with a Southern drawl...? Thesis-writing does strange things to a man.... *gazes into distance*)

Coming back to it now, it almost looks like a different League there are so many new faces..!! Sorry to hear Raiding Axe dropped, but he's got high-schooling to do, so perhaps it's for the best!! Best of luck, buddy. We will see you in game for some missions and cards whenever you like.


Certainly looks like I have a lot of catching up to do. I also have to go back and read two weeks worth of posts to keep up on all the goings-on. I'll be posting about whatever stuff we haven't talked about yet, and with so much going on between the Card League, the physical TCG, the Avengers movie and the 3+ new Card Quests we've seen in the past couple weeks... there is certainly a lot to talk about. I don't even know if anyone posted any articles since I've been gone.. but I know there are a couple Sonic Koala pieces to link to in the first post. And because of the Table of Contents' ever-growing size, I'll likely have to change the way that thing is handled.

The thesis was such a pain to write and wrangle, so again, thank you to everyone for being patient with my absence -- that's all the help I needed from you guys, and ya did good by me! :D

I just have to finish up one last paper over this weekend and I'm back in full-force. But I'll be stopping in and be online over the weekend too. So if you know we have a match to play, just say hi in the chat to remind me so I can be ready and we can play!

I hit a wonderful glitch today. Every opposing attacker that hit me stayed on the board. Not Keepers, just regular cards. And they stayed up in my face for every attack in the rest of the match. So cool.

I love the Mason for all the hard work, and I love this game. This is so much fun I think we need more parties like this.

I want to start a weekly tournament sponsored by squadcards.com and I want you all to give me some suggestions. I am thinking about running it like this:

Everyone who registers their screen name in the tournament roster will be eligible for the weekly tournaments. The tournaments will be played during a certain time period each week, during one particular night. Say Wednesdays, for discussion's sake.

The winner will be the person who has the highest win percentage of the night, in matches against other registered opponents. Maybe there will be a requirement to play at least three registered opponents during the night.

Weekends may be better, but the system seems to be much more buggy when it has weekend traffic.

I want to start a specific time block tournament.

What do you guys think? I will operate from squadcards.com so we don't get the CBR mods mad, and I will have loot cards and such for prizes.

Yea... It just had to be a card I had no blocks to that did exactly 6 damage, didn't it ;) I thought for sure when I got you to 1 card and I had 6 that it was gonna be a win for me haha.

Well I sadly took no win from Storm Builder, but my first match ever against Bright Breaking Ghost went well. MPG 2-1 BBG (Week 14) He absolutely killed me on that second match.
