Hello my fellow competitors. I am here to announce the start of the 1st ever Infinity Gauntlet Tournament! I know some of you have waited a good deal of time and some of you have only just signed up last week. So I want to go over a few rules first then you all may begin Challenging others.

Please remember to only ante 1-2 gems per game and to not go after another copy of one of your gems.
Also remember to tell me every result of your card games and to be honest and truthful.
And most of all... Have Fun! Do not be stressed just relax and have fun!

I wish all of you the best of luck and as that one movie said it... "May The odds be ever in your favor!"

That's a very generous offering, ATM!!! I agree that it should give a few folks incentive to join the tourney. Can't wait for it to get started... although now I'm wishing I made a serious deck and not a deck solely based on the funny jokes in the card pictures.

Anyway, just to be clear - the 4th start time is the time after which challenges can be made, correct? Meaning challenges cannot be issued prior to 11:59 PM CST on November 4th... right?

As my first challenge was invalid, I'll go to another one.

The Cimmerian-born king of Aquilonia sat in his throne room, contemplating. He'd recently received intelligence that said that the Raiding Axe, the man who had vexed him for so long with his raiding and sacking of outlying villages, held an Infinity Gem. Specifically, this Axe held the Soul Gem, and Conan, the Smashing Clown Juggler, held the Time Gem. He had grown bored of kingship, and longed for the adventuring days of his youth to return. However, the Time Gem was not able to do that for him. Perhaps if he could unite the Infinity Gems, he could use them to relive his life...or to find new lands to conquer?
Previously, he'd shaken that thought off. A fools' gambit, he realized. Should I lose my gem, the kingdom would suffer. But now, with this new information...the fire in his belly was re-lit.

He rode to where he was told Raiding Axe's camp was. Thankfully, his spies were right. There was a single guard in this section of the camp. Conan readied his axe. Attached to it with twine was a scroll. The axe was heaved by Conan's mighty muscles directly into the guard's chest, and the momentum was enough to break the scroll's seal. Conan rode off, hoping someone in the camp was literate.

The scroll read thus:

Raiding Axe,
With this axe, I challenge you. Meet me at my castle in the capitol. You will be granted safe passage. Put your Soul Gem against my Time Gem in my arena. Two men enter, one man leaves. Accept, or forever be branded a coward.

That one happens pretty often - waiting message stays on screen, your opponent plays a card but you can't click on any of your own cards or even pass to respond to it - no choice but to quit.
