I had that "Stop Hitting Yourself" lucky block coming, after the first two cards on top of my deck blocked your Psylocke/Storm dual factor in game 2, haha

Good matches, but not a good first week for me. 0-2.

Yeah, it's a tough one. It also came at the most inopportune time for you -- right at the end, knocking lots of cards out of your deck leaving you with very few choices and little to know cards at Level 1... it can pack a whammy that's for sure!

That deck was kinda similar to what Bronn1 was talking about a couple pages back when he mentioned combining his Power Outage deck with the Mole Man cards. Since Mole Man/Moloids cards are all pretty low-level, they area natural fit with Spider- cards. And like the Spider- cards, they utilize a lot of low-hitting, chained Speed and Animal cards to do damage. So if you see a lot of Moles coming, hold onto that Tech block because there's a good chance that there's a Spider-Girl Power draining card in the mix..!

It truly is amazing how much luck factors into the card game. I just assembled a decent DD/Elektra deck, wiped out two players, then had my butt handed to me by a Falcon with a starter deck... How humbling!

Sorry about dropping out of sight there for a few days. I have the flu. Still not over it, yet, but now able to sit up and look at computer screen for a few minutes (although it makes my head hurt a little to do so).

I hear (and see on this thread) that there's been a lot of cards released in my absence. My kids have been in-game a few times (if you've seen me running around acting like a crazy person while ignoring you) and I've asked them to spin the wheel. So I may have gold and may have many new shiny ice cream cones and other useless whotnots.

Anyway, I'm ready to play and now have a good excuse if I lose.

I can answer that question... nope. You don't have to use the same deck in all of your matches. Unless it's a really good deck.

Good games CUG.

First game my Brotherhood deck VS CUGs Hulk deck. I got 3 red blocks and 1 green block in my hand -- the entire game. I was out of red blocks in my entire deck when I had 15 cards left total. I was okay with the green blocks because I knew they were lurking in the last 10 cards in my deck, when you get to level 10 against Hulk, this is a very good thing and I mean ALL but 1 of my green blocks... He played his level 10 double-factor Hulk card with 1 keeper in play... Then the keeper hit and took out all my green blocks! This is why it is important to be watching your opponents discard pile the whole game -- mostly for the blocks you WANT to see go by. If that keeper wouldn't have hit I could have blocked at least 4 of his green plays. Also, it kind of shows importance of using different factors each play.

Second game, I got some lucky blocks and whatnot.

Third game, I used a low-level deck. Didn't get to play not 1 power-lowering card. Then I screwed up and clicked on PASS for some unknown reason? What a dummy. I had one last card and could have come back, but CUG got the lucky block this time.

All in all, 3 good games. I still sucked and have to get on my game if I'm going to have any chance. I am determined to use VF cards too -- CURSE BE DAMNED!
