Interesting... I've seen that card before, but don't remember where.. where'd you find it Baron..? Also, I've spotted a couple new cards ill post in a few..

So I was gathering some stuff for this thread from official materials and spotted a couple cards I don't believe we have seen in the game yet! These are from the in-game tutorial and from the trailer for the Card Game shown earlier this summer. I marked all new cards with lil blue "NEW" tags.

Yeah! It would be neat to try and make an "all-gold" deck! I wonder if these were ever printed if those cards would have a special print effect on them like a foil or something..?

You're right, I missed that one..! It looks to me like it's Giant Man holding Cap upside-down, and the card might be titled "Pick Up A Friend"...?

Nice, I thought it may have been "Tough Quest," but wasn't sure if that was ever used as a title. That's likely what it is!

Nice find! Looks like there is also a Super Skrull card, and it has the Psylocke card too!
There's also a Hulk card in the middle wherein he is imitating Bob Cratchet or Scrooge or something.. He's got a Tiny Tim or a log over his shoulder.. Although the character name is really long.. and it has dual Factors, so maybe it's a team-up card..?

..And after seeing that Hand Ninja/Deadpool card in that picture in addition to the tutorial one, I'm pretty sure it's actually Deadpool now. I can see the black eye spots and some on the shoulder too pretty well, and also the name appears to be Deadpool.

Oh and here's two more new cards from that vid:

Nice! Good spots! Looks like a Scarlet Spider attack that works similarly to the "Fancy Footwork" Spider-Man card. This one reads: "{3}=> Return this card to your hand. You may play a level (1) attack."

Then that Sabretooth card looks like it says: "This card is -{1} for each damage you took last turn." That's a pretty neat effect, and can be utilized well against an opponent who may not play a card against you in a given turn. AND it's a level (2)!

I'm in the process of enhancing the wiki pages for card quests by adding deck breakdowns. So far I've only updated Black Panther, but I'll be doing the same thing for each quest over the next week or so:

I hope they manage to include a Thunderbolts archetype on it. Masters of Evil (with Enchantress and some other new villains) would be cool too.

Yeah, that'd be great. I'd love to have additional themes/archetypes added to the cards (beyond X-Men, Avengers, etc.). Thunderbolts and Masters of Evil are great ones.. you have a ton of characters you could include for both. Thunderbolts would fit really well with "Dark Justice" if that ends up being an anti-hero Booster set (Songbird, Moonstone, Mach V, Fixer, Citizen V...Ghost..?). As would a "Marvel Knights" or "Heroes for Hire" theme. MK could include our existing DD, Elektra, Blade, Dr. Strange, and add Moon Knight, Luke Cage, Shang-Chi, Iron Fist, Punisher, Cloak, and Dagger. HH could have Luke, Iron Fist, Misty, as well as all the mercenaries like Deadpool, Taskmaster, Paladin... Oh I so hope this is an anti-hero booster.. those are my favorite characters.. You think Dark Avengers will fit with this deck too..? We do have Iron Patriot, after all..

There needs to be a couple more themes in general. Poor Black Widow's cards seem to be completely on their own, along with some others that have no connection to other groups. I think a Marvel Knights and a Cosmic theme would both work really well, as there are so many characters to include in both those groupings.

I totally agree with you, Im kinda surprised they didn't add Black Widow to the Avengers but actually bought we would get a Agents of Shield category. I actually hope we get Loki or Enchantress cards soon.

A SHIELD category could be good too, but I feel like it may be a bit limited until we start seeing Howling Commandos and Fury's Secret Warriors in the game, unfortunately. The only ones we have right now that are well-known for a SHIELD association are Black Widow, Fury, and Spider-Woman. And Spider-Woman is in the Spider-Man category... even though she is more known for being associated with Avengers or SHIELD than anything to do with Spider-Man. It's fine by me, but it also makes it harder to place where everyone else will fall.

Considering that the membership of the X-Men and Avengers categories can go on forever, while Spider-Man and especially Fantastic Four are much more finite... I wonder how they will address the continuing expansion of some decks while the other two will simply stop.

There is only so many F4 cards of the core team people will buy. Perhaps they'll have FF Spidey included with F4, as my brother suggested to me. And maybe we will see The Inhumans grouped with them since they have always had such close ties to the F4...? That would certainly have me collecting more F4 cards.

In terms of Spider-Man (& Friends) cards, they will probably have to expand beyond spider-powered characters too since most members have the same powers (save for Spider-Woman and Miles~sort of). If that's the case, I could see Cloak and Dagger added to the Spidey group rather than a Marvel Knights one, along with Spidey supporting characters like Morbius and Prowler, etc.

They are either going to have to start lumping more characters into the Spidey and F4 groups to match with the sheer number of X-Men we are bound to have. That or I think they will eventually have to add a couple more categories... which I think would bring more diversity to the decks.
