Seeing as how Marvel seems to want to make Wolverine all cute, cuddly and sensitive I feel it's time for a change in his appearance.

A child-loving, school-teaching, *mass murderering* cashcow should not go around looking so scruffy. He needs to sharpen up his image if he's to appeal to 5 year olds and their parents. THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN!!!!

Apparently, Wolverine is now cute, lovable and can do nothing wrong. So while it is being claimed that Cyclops is now a villain, I claim that Wolverine is now;




By the way, that means no more beer or cigars, because drinking beer and smoking is not a good look for Marvel's new kiddie-magnet. Only tubbie-tustard for you

I know this is a joke thread, but I actually think Wolverine would be more interesting as a zen samurai type dude who has kind of seen it all by now. Kind of how Morrison portrayed him during his New X-men run. I'm just tired of the mindless, beer-swilling punk that so many writers portray him as. At least during Aaron's run he's had some depth, but Bendis and most everyone else who writes him just doesn't get him. Remender does a good job with him actually. I like how he portrays Logan as a no-nonsense leader in Uncanny X-Force.

But at this point in the character's life and history he's beyond being a surly, confrontational guy who's always jumping the gun and starting stuff for no reason. There are plenty of young upstarts who can fit the "wild card" bill in the X-men and Avengers so they no longer need to keep Wolverine pigeon-holed into that role IMO.

Oh, and I think him as headmaster is not only a step in the right direction, but probably the best and most interesting thing to happen to the character in decades! It's fun seeing him as a fish out of water and so over his head. At least to me.
