Doctor Octopus: the slap of the Master Planner

I love the Doc Ock bust. The expression is what makes it. He's just so full of himself and knows it.

On another note, does anybody else think Electro looks too much like Molecule Man with those face markings and the lack of trunks?

same. I miss the classic mask. The tattoo's are just a poor substitute and lighting design on his chest when drawn right can look great, but during The Gauntlet storyline the art made it look like suspenders.

Edit: as to favorite Bust, mine would be Electro. The electrical effects and anger gives that effect of "Your dead!" But my favorite of all is how well sculpted the mask is done.

Their origin of formation.
In their formation, Vulture see's value in using the Six as a new gang to control New York rather than use it for the usual personal vendetta on Spider-Man. Having made an alliance with Crime Master he takes in Jack O'Lantern. He choose Electro as his confidant while easily manipulating him to side with him should Jack O'lantern betray him. The rest he broke out of jail feeling that past versions would be predictable against Spidey.

I loved the Dr. Doom and the Masters of Evil series. That was just great all the way around.

Now, If I was going to put together a brand new Sinister Six without just reshufflign past line-ups, I'd go with ....

Dr. Octopus
Electro
Mysterio
Swarm
Jack O' Lantern
Shreik

I think that could make an interesting group.

Cool choice on Shreik. She could make for some interesting banter with Jack O'Lantern and Mysterio. I always felt she should become a reoccuring rogue to Spidey.

I still think that Sandman armor is great.
I know it does not make much sense to Sandman be using a armor,but that re-design of Sandman was cool.
