    she's in the comics already.

Speaking of which...hey, GLs, you gonna go back and rescue all those guys?

I wonder if Aya can actually make constructs like a GL does, or just blasts and force fields. I've never been clear on why constructs are supposed to be better than the former, the franchise seems built on that premise.

The Zamorans have travel technology far in advance of what the Guardians could provide, so maybe they are on to something with the whole emotion thing.

I was annoyed when twice Hal spoke as if they're currently in our a galaxy? Is that a retcon or was he just simplifying for Carol? I thought the concept from the pilot wasthey're many galaxies away, beyond the current reach of the GL Corp. Surely the entire corp isn't confined to just a portion of the Milky Way?
For a group thats supposed to be protectors of the universe they handled saving the prisoners and Geeta poorly. I predict the next time Hal meets Geeta it's NOT going to end well

Today's episode, "Regime Change", I think this one might have been the best one yet. Great characterization and some of the best action and battles animated yet. Loved the Guardians' debate and Ganthet's departure and his creation of the Blue Lantern and how it works in symbiosis with the Green Lanterns and weakens the Red Lanterns. I would not be surprised if Saint Walker makes an appearance down the line later since we saw the Blue Lantern departing the ship.

Shame that Ian Abercrombie died, hope he was able to record all his lines for the season. I wonder if the show gets a second season who'll they will get to replace Ian Abercrombie for Ganthet's voice?

Aya's not in the comics, unless your referring to the Green Lantern: The Animated Series tie-in comic. Iolande is in the comics though.

So, that green battery on the ship was a secretly modified blue one?

I understand why blue/hope would turbocharge the GLs. But I don't get why it would depower the Red Lanterns. Hope isn't the opposite of anger. It's not even related, really.

Hope soothes the soul (at least that is how it is played in the comics) thus soothes rage.
It depowers the Red Lanterns in the comics as well. Blue Lanterns basically kicks the buts of Red and Yellow Lanterns when in the presence of Green Lanterns. And can even satiate the greed/hunger of Larfleeze (the Orange Lantern in the comics).

I love this show so much. I hope that Blue Lantern guy from a few episodes ago joins the crew. They're going to need all the help they can get against the Red Lanterns.

Speaking of the Red Lanterns I hope that one Red Lantern, who is among the Green Lanterns, gets a Green Lantern Ring down the road.

Another great episode, classic Bruce Timm comedy. Love the Thanagarians appearances and the con-man leader. Razer and Aya were cute together as well.

In the comics there is also the matter of blue lanterns being the only thing that can save a RL whose rage has been "compromised," ie. what they were pissed about is undone like with Mera and Guy during The Blackest Night. Razor has already had a entire episode subplot devoted to his ring not leaving him even though he is no longer in league with Attrocitus. I think that its possible that he becomes a blue lantern or even an Indigo before the end of the series, but not any time soon. Plus the Reds HAVE to get to Earth at some point, because otherwise we'll never get Dex-Star, and we have to have Dex.

The show's Red Lanterns don't have their hearts ripped out, so Razer is probably safe if he ever gives up his rage. But I really don't want him going Green. I just like the idea of Hal's Rainbow Brigade traveling the frontier, righting wrongs, singing songs.
