I am now posting where no man has posted before... Except wyokid. But he lost his Man-Card a long time ago, so my statement stands...
Uh-oh, the last thread didn't lock when it hit 5000...again...

I thought with the new servers that threads didn't lock @5000 posts anymore.
1) Find a bad guy
2) Be Wolverine
Ultimate Wolverine is coming back, sort of!
They went back to the old policy of locking after 5,000 posts, due to server lags.
A 5,000 post limit though is quite generous compared to other sites.
On another site I used to frequent (Fan Forum) the threads there got locked after around 300 posts.
The reason why is that their servers are worse than ours.
(And to be fair, Fan Forums gets a lot more traffic than CBR does, due to the fact that it has more of a global presence and more posters from around the world.)

I'll carry this over from the old thread because I'm not sure if we should still post in it or not.
=O It's on my Christmas list. Is it really that much different than any of the other Zelda's though? I've played the DS ones and Twilight Princess and it's just soooo repetitive. They could do some awesome stuff with it if they weren't afraid of breaking tradition.
Let's see, my faves for the Wii are Super Smash Bros. Brawl, MarioKart Wii, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Mario Party 8, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Super Mario Galaxy. I'm hoping to get Galaxy 2, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, and Skyward Sword for Xmas though. I have Metroid Prime but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
And happy belated birthday, Wyokid!

I wanted to go with Ultimately Off-Topic IV: Ralph's Revenge maybe next time though.

Why mess with something that works time and time again? If you break it down though I would say most games that are part of a series all the same things over and over. Thats what the story is for though, with a strong story it pushes the temple hoping to the back and lets the player press foward.
At least thats how I feel.
So this Zelda game... Do I need to know anything before I play it? Bare in mind that up until a few years ago I thought Zelda was the guy in the green hat. That's literally how little I know about this entire series, spanning all the way back to NES.
