OKAY. If this was the problem and Marvel hadn't had time to comment because the second issue wasn't supposed to be released, then it's understandable. Although, from the article, I couldn't figure out if his health is what caused the need for so much help on the current issues. I imagine he'd have started way ahead of time on a monthly.
Omactivate! RIP

Yeah, but we were deliberately left without an answer to the work that has already been finished, which makes me wonder at what point in his work his health started declining.
I'm glad Silvestri is recovering. Hope for a speedy and healthy recovery.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.

I hope he takes it easy. Presumably, he runs Top Cow and does artwork, so it must be exhausting. I could never do that. I could probably draw 10 hours a day, six days a week but that would push my limit.
I want to meet this guy at the ECCC next March and talk about what a big fan I've always been of his. I was actually looking through Cyber Force #2 (regular series) not 3 hours ago and marveling at his artwork.
I hope gets better real soon.
He's STILL not done with Issue #3!?!?
Doctor Who? Doctor.... Who!!?!
Silvestri was only slated to do 3 issues -- Marvel chose to be its usual dodgey selve and keep that information private. With an additional penciller and 3 inkers on issue #1, it would be difficult for this issue NOT to look good. Are we seeing umblemished Silvestri? No. Same deal w/ Madureira -- we will see maybe 3 issues and then a fill-in arc and then he will probably be gone. None of the former big names can do/want to do the monthly grind anymore. But they get big bucks from the publishers on their notoriety. Nonetheless the companies sell comics on their names and expect fans to buy-in for the duration. Bait and switch. This will continue until the fans become more discerning about what they buy into and demand to know how long the artist's run will last.
Best wishes to Mr. Silvestri for a speedy recovery!

I hope he gets better soon. He's one of my favorite artists of all time.
I hope Marc will be okay. It seems most of you could give a damn about the man's health so long as his art comes out on schedule...
