As much as I love Immonen, I think Finch takes this one. His Magneto looks more menacing and dark, which fits the tone of what's actually going on there.

I like Finch's earlier work...his Ultimate X-Men arc and his time on New Avengers were amazing. I wasn't as big a fan of Ultimatum, but it was still eye candy for me. :)

I know this is gonna bite me in the future but.....Finch's work is god awful every character's face looks exactly the same and their physiques are just ugh.

No I agree that Finch is awful. But that one pic of Magneto with Mjolnir is awesome.

I think Kubert wins the first page, but Sandoval wins the second. I think Sandoval draws a much better Reed.

No I agree that Finch is awful. But that one pic of Magneto with Mjolnir is awesome.

I think Finch is a great artist, when he's drawing the right stuff. He was fantastic on his Ultimate X-Men run.



And his run on New Avengers was great, too.

But he wasn't a good fit for Ultimatum. Granted, I'm not sure anyone could have made that script look good. And while his Magneto spread is good, I think Immonen's is streets ahead (which reminds me... I need to go watch Community ).

Hmm Ben seems to have put on some weight under Kubert's pencil.

I like the Sandoval page better becuase to me his kids look more like kids then the Kubert page does. I like what happnes on page in the Kubert pages though becuase I really got the feeling of who Reed and Ben are on that page.

Over all though it goes to Sandoval becuase his kids really look like kids becuase at this time Reed was still in grade school I believe.
