The story and characters seem good, but the cgi seems....unfinished somehow.

Costumes are shiny, and not in a good, 'verse kinda way. Apparently in this GL iteration, the Corps has a PVC/vinyl fetish. That's what you get with low-balling your CGI animation.

The animation is a very much an "Incredibles" style knockoff. Not that that is a bad thing. Just noting. Maybe there is a difference between the look of the animation on an internet video and the final look of it in hi-def on a real TV.

Looks pretty good to me, and I'm not necessarily a big fan of full digital animation.

Face it this is visual garbage.Pixar started a revolution and the Koreans or whoever did this just don't care to maintain any graphic standard for this project at all.Somebody at DC/WB should be fired for this.

I have to say I was disappointed with the way the show looked. I'll still give it a chance though.

For what it's worth, that direct-to-video movie 'Emerald Knights' felt like a pilot episode for a Green Lantern Corps animated series.

I'm sort of surprised they didn't go in that direction, and went with a CGI thing instead.

Sorry, but if it's all the same to you, I'd just as soon face away from your ranting vitriol.

Agreed. This looks better than some of the previous all CG stuff we have seen. I couldn't even watch the Spider-Man or Iron-Man CG animated series. They just rubbed me the wrong way. CG should not try to masquerade as traditional animation.

Yeah a part of me was hoping a GL series is based on that instead of what we actually got. Not really a big fan of CGI heavy animated series

Like everyone has said, the CGI looks garbage. JLU, GL Emrald knights, and Young Justice are all 2d hits. What possessed CN/DC to create a show that has the same quality of a Nintendo 64 cut scene. The clone wars has decent CGI. Don;t tell me DC/CN do not have the budget.
    Color me disappointed.

Looks great to me! Love the humor, too.

"No, sir. I punched him in the stomach, then headbutted him in the face."
