LOL- they put Palmiotti and Tieri in the headline. The only draw for this comic is Amanda Conner

Conner is the only reason I'd consider buying it...

    Ouch!

Palmiotti's work on Power Girl and All Star Western was/is fantastic. I'm looking forward to this.

Well yeah, I loved his run on Power Girl also, but I don't find the premise of this one interesting, just the artwork.

It does seem a bit silly, but I think that's what's going to make it fun. If it was an ongoing, I probably wouldn't be too excited. But this sounds like a fun mini.

I'll probably pick it up for Amanda's art, but it sounds like it could be a fun read too.

Conner is my favorite gestural artist in comics has been for a few years in fact, but it's a little crazy to say that. Palmiotti's writing is outstanding imo.
Read The Call, African fantasy at its best http://coalminds.com/webcomics/thecall_adaptive04.html

This one is a no-brainer. I'm originally from Brooklyn, and I'm a big fan of Jimmy, Amanda and Paul's work. I'm looking forward to meeting Captain Brooklyn and to seeing just how screwed up his life will become once he acquires his powers...

First Quesada, later Grey, now Tieri... Why does Palmiotti never write anything by himself?

MDV - Seriously? He's written a ton by himself. Last Resort, Painkiller Jane, New West, Deadpool, the Flashpoint mini-series, etc. All good stuff. And what difference does it make if he does use a writing partner? Does the same label apply to TV or movie writers?

I am looking forward to this. A fun book, Amanda's art, etc. Another fun ride. After reading The Pro, this team knows how to have fun. If anything, people should be jumping on board for Amanda's art. Sooooooooo underrated in this business. Consistently producing incredible art and storytelling that is to die for.

This book can't be published fast enough!
