Both were already in my pull-list anyway..

Don't like that much Frank' face by Giffen I must confess..Right from issue 2, I start feeling that he's graphically neglects a little every character who actually isn't a monster

I wonder who Kevin's mentor will be? The character is a male who also has a series. Superboy fits the description and knows what it is like to be enslaved to an evil entity, although he does not seem old enough to mentor anyone. I heard Mister Terrific was going to be in the series, as a scientist and someone Brother Eye cannot see, he would make a good mentor.

While I don't mind that this crossover is happening, I'm not excited for it. Frankenstein was been okay so far, but it's not nearly as great as Animal Man or Sweet Tooth. I'd like Lemire to take this comic out of the shadow of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers and make it less of a B. P. R. D. rip-off. There is A LOT of potential here, and Nina's heartbreaking back story has been my favorite moment out of the series so far, but I'm giving Frank another two issues to impress me.
X-O Manowar. Harbinger. Bloodshot. Archer & Armstrong. Swamp Thing. Dial H. Captain Marvel. Hit-Girl. Saga. Prophet. Read my reviews of these and more at The Comic Book Couple!

This is where I'm at too. I love Hellboy, and the BPRD, but I also love Lemire's Sweet Tooth and Animal Man. I would think that FRANK would be the perfect book for me, but it just isn't. I want Lemire to run with the more absurdities of the book, a bit more, really just hit the ground running. Right now it is far too much of Hellboy-Lite, and doing crossovers this soon, is never a good thing.

Have you given it a try? I'm really loving it, and this is coming from someone who'd initially written it off upon seeing Didio's involvement.

Appreciate your user name, by the way.

Yes and I found it to be terrible, when Didio leaves I'm willing to give it a chance again

Lemire: Whether or not Ray will become The Atom, we're not allowed to talk about yet, and I think that's what makes him an interesting character right now. That he's not The Atom. He's just a scientist. I think, in many ways, he's more interesting now than he was previously as The Atom.
That's a pretty asinine thing to say. It's like saying the making of a film is more interesting than the actual movie itself. Sorry Jeff, your portrayal of Ray Palmer doesn't even come close to Geoff's in BLACKEST NIGHT or even Roger Stern and Tom Peyer's POWER OF THE ATOM. At there he did more than just stand around and report to a little girl.
