I just feel like the wendigo is important to Daimio's story somehow, but I haven't quite figured out how yet.

...I'm weighing your words carefully, because it occurred to me you may already know the answer to this.
Aaah, that's RIGHT! Excellent recollection :)

I do not know the answer yet, and as can be expected, I don't think any of us will know until issue 3. And maybe not even then

And as you know, that special blade is a big part of what's going to happen. I don't want any of them to die, but my least favorite character between the three is Johann. I would love to keep Daryl around, and I think Daimio's a very interesting character. Ugh, the nail-biting continues!

I just got this today and it was amazing. I mean an undead moose and a were jaguar fight it out, what's not to love? And in the letters column they said the next issue contained the best monster fight ever, I thought the fight in this one was great so I can only imagine what the conclusion will be like.

And I completely agree! But it's not even supposed to be out yet, right? What's going on?

After reading that, I'm even more convinced of my suspicions.

I was glad to see Carla survived. And you just know issue 3 is going to find a way to top that battle.

I didn't want to say before, but I think you're right. I'm hoping you're right. Because that would be amazing!

I don't think I've ever been more excited for an issue of BPRD than I am for The Long Death #3.

I'm really enjoying this mini so far. Although I felt a little bit lost in issue 1, this week's issue had a few reveals that helped me appreciate the story more without excessive exposition or editor's notes. The reveal about the threat Johann and his team is facing was cool and one I didn't expect since this is the first BPRD story I'm reading.

I also enjoyed the action. Harren is really good with the viscera.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

Man, you picked a tough story to jump in on. It's got a lot of history from the last four years of stories in play. Glad you're still able to enjoy it though.

So who's the genius at the BPRD who keeps approving Johan's requests for more agents? Kirk only went through one or two red shirts per mission.
He was the sort of person who stood on mountaintops during thunderstorms in wet copper armour shouting "All the Gods are bastards".

That right there's the measure of a quality creative team. The broad strokes are implemented well enough that I don't need to know all the details.
