Whether or not Ben is destroyed, there's still the question of both the monkey and Daimio's grandmother. She hasn't been seen since The Black Flame, where she gave Liz the lotus that caused her to pass out (if that was Mrs. Daimio at all!).

I'd forgotten all about that!
How could she have known Liz was a threat though? Who sent her and why not just shoot her if removing her was the intent?
I think maybe the old lady was sent by Gilfried (sp?) and the flower was a mind-expanding sorta thing so Liz could have ver visions with ol' snakeboy.
