Great news for Ed and Sean!
I hope this means that the Daredevil reboot will fall by the wayside and Marvel will regain the rights...
If Brubaker gets to write like he wants it can be a cool noir heist story. If its regular hollywood adapt it wont be good and generic heist film like all the others in recent years....
Pull List:
The Walking Dead,Fatale,Near Death,Storm Dogs,Happy,BPRD,XO-Manowar
American Vampire,Animal Man,Swamp Thing
Daredevil, Winter Soldier,Indestructible Hulk
Good for Brubaker and Phillips. However I find noir writing boring and that's not a film I will want to see. Now a pulp movie, that's another story.
The Punisher: I’m going to cauterize your rectum, sealing it shut, so when you turn those delicious Pink Pants™ Fruit Pies into waste products the bilirubin in your feces will leach into your bloodstream and you’ll die screaming! And I’ll watch while having sex with this grateful prostitute!
Trussed-Up Hooker: Blueberry are my favorite!
In other words, what StoneGold said.

Coward isn't my favorite Criminal story, but it would make for a good film and more attention on the book the better.
Reread COWARD today, could very well make an excellent film.
If they could tempt him, Leonardo DiCaprio would be perfect as the 'coward'. Josh Hartnett, whom David Slade worked with on his last comic adaptation, would be great too.
EAT GLASS, LAWMAN!
