Yeah thats why i like Nick becuase he has grown as a sheriff in supernatural world trying to fight bad wesen and help good wesen.

I have been impressed by the last few storyline eps where the mythlogy, the world of the wesen have grown. Renard ,royal families, rebels, Eisbeibers etc

Are you surprised in a good way or that you thought it was not good enough to escape cancelation ?

Myself i went months from watching this season. I have catched up recently. After 7-8 eps i thought it would never survive or atleast be interesting enough for me to watch every week. Its goes from weak guilty pleasure to a decent,b-level version of Supernatural to me.

Exactly on Nick. I'm looking forward to finding out what exactly Renard's game is.

It started picking up from the 4th/5th episode and it's really gotten good in the last half of the season. Check out Episode 10 - Organ Grinder (which is standalone) if you want to see what it can be.

I definetely like this show and feel its only problem was that we definetely need more info on the reapers and what exactly is renard's gameplan.

What did you guys think of the finale ?

I just saw it and thought it was close to great ep as Grimm can get. The pacing might be alittle too high but so much good things happened with Kimura, Julliet knowing the secret, the posion of Adelaid and the cliff hanger at the end was terribly good.

I wonder how much crazier Juliet would have thought he was if he had mentioned the whole fairy tale connection.

You mean you expect the mother to appear before the finale ? I almost forgot her the woman in black when she appeared in the ep because so much other was going on.

I thought it was an excellent way to end out the season, although it was not the best episode of the season (the best episode in my opinion is a toss-up between Organ Grinder and Love Sick).

To me, the main arc of the season has been about Nick accepting his role as a Grimm, and in this season we started from disbelief to a reluctant acceptance, to becoming comfortable, to enjoyment and embracing his new role. I loved the scene in the trailer, where he starts off slowly with Juliet, and then starts bubbling over with enthusiasm, then realizes that he is losing Juliet, and then gets more manic in a desperate attempt to convince her, which of course does the opposite. I thought both performances in the trailer were dead on for realistic reactions, and it's one of my favourite scenes from the finale.

Likewise, I thought Adelind's plan for revenge on Nick was tone-perfect for the character (although I'm still hoping she has plans for vengeance on Renard as well) and I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes in season two.

While the ongoing plots with the Reapers, the Verrat, and whatever the heck Renard is up to interest me a lot more than the coins, I see why they decided to address that subplot in the arc because it was the one with the most personal impact for Nick, and it fit thematically with his Mom's reappearance, and it provides a nice ending for Nick's parents' "murders" to clear the boards for more of the stories that interest me. I'm assuming we'll get the real story on what happened in Rhinebeck early next season. I do hope that Farley Colt is still alive though, I would love to see him back and dealing with Nick's Mom.

I'm a bit surprised that no one has mentioned Hank yet. Frankly, I think it's great that after dealing with Adelind, the drugging, waking up in a strange bedroom with Monroe and Rosalee (and no Adelind), and seeing the Woga transformation of Brinkhoffer and Monroe in Blutbad form, that the show is not ignoring the impact that Wesen Woga has on normal humans. We've been told that seeing Wesen is psychologically damaging since the beginning of the season, and it's nice that they are actually firing Chekhov's gun in a way that seems organic and natural. Hank has been through a lot of crap this season, and it's going to be interesting to see where it goes from here.

Honestly, I called it when she took a moment looking at Nick's photo. Also, she's in her 50's, knows kung fu, and the long lost parent returning to save the day is a pretty common trope for shows like Grimm.

Yeah, I agree the PTSD is a good storyline for Hank. It fleshes him out as a person.

Yeah when we see her kick ass and be in her 50s it was easy to see she was his mother. Only Grimm are the humans well trained, strong enough to fight like a pro in a monster hunter series like this. I knew when she started to follow Kimura that she was out to protect Nick.

Other that than she came out of nowwhere before this ep i didnt think to see her in the finale. I thought his family was dead and a mystery to solve why they died. That his mother was also a Grimm was pretty surprising since they barely mentioned his parents in the eps before.

One of the reasons the finale was very enjoyable, strong ep.

I think the only problem i have is that the reapers and renard and whoever else in the background aren't that well defined so i hope we learn more about them in the future.

The episode was awesome and I wanna see where hank and juliet go from here. I'm floored by how Nick's mom is still alive. Farley needs to still be here because Titus Weliever is to good a actor to waste.
