I PM'ed you some stuff a few days(?) ago, TJKernan-- you can just use the general title description I sent for the book description and the specific issue description for the actual solicitation, if that's okay.

Comics were happier before the Internet turned writing superhero stories into fruitless attempts to impress/entertain a small group of ppl who appear to hate comics and their creators.

Crap! I just noticed the Aquafriends book. Would it be a huge deal if I tell the origin of Aquaman in JL:Worlds Finest, and have Aquafriends set after the first arc?
no problem at all. Just bear in mind, Aqua Friends will be a more light-hearted (read: borderline "all-ages") book. So if your Aquaman origin involves tons of gore and violence, there may be some contradicting themes. But oh well.
edit: oh and TJ, Aquaman's civilian name is "Arthur" Curry, not Adam

Ok, it's not violent, but it is a bit different, so than the normal origin, so I'll just tell you where he ends up. He was the prince of an Atlantis that had been cut off from the rest of earth for thousands of years. When the city reveals itself and begins to enslave and kill humans in the name of its religion, he's the only one to take a stand against it. He leaves to help the Justice league. Fast forward to the end of the arc, and Atlantis has retreated back to the depths along with most of its people. Arthur stays behind to explore this new world he's now in. I can introduce any other Atlanteans you'd like to use if you'd like, or I can just leave it opened ended as to who else stayed and you can introduce them yourself.
yeah that works. No extra Atlanteans needed, as long as Mera's origin is the same (the extra-dimension thingamajig)... Although it does bring up an interesting question I had, but never asked:
Are we completely resetting DC continuity? Or are we pretending this is just our version of the post-Flashpoint world? For Aquaman in particular, I suppose it doesn't matter, since his origin has gone back and forth anyway. But was just curious, b/c I was going to make some references to pre-Flashpoint continuity in my Outsiders book.

Action heroes? We got 'em!
Hub City, once the glittering jewel of the lake coast, is now a crime ridden wasteland where political corruption runs rampant and the only four letter word never heard uttered, is hope. Into this world defined by shades of grey, come standard bearers of bold color: Blue Beetle, The Question, Captain Atom, Nightshade, Judomaster, Tiger, and Son of Vulcan! If anyone can turn The Hub around, it's them.
I'm starting off with David Clinton (Chronos I), Walker Garbiel (Chronos II), Ra's Al Ghul, RJ Brande, Elijah Snow, Vext, Zauriel and Saturn Girl. I'd love to have more if possible -- I'd really like to use Maxima, Andrew Bennett, Mr. Freeze, Terry McGinnis, a future Captain Atom, Axel Brass, Martian Manhunter, Isamot Kol, Sodam Yat, Starman, Chameleon Girl, Mon-El and Brainiac 5, among others if possible, but I understand if I need to limit the cast.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
I have an idea for a second series, but the premise requires a good bit from the shared world, so I thought I'd trial balloon it to see if there were any concerns.
The series would be called Ragnarøkkr, and the high concept is that the old gods have returned and transformed the Scandinavian and Germanic countries of Europe into a Dark Age-esque fantasy world to be their final battle ground. Protecting the innocent people caught in the middle are the heroes Ice, Dr. Mid-Nite, and the Wild Huntsman.
I have to be honest, I don't like this idea... and I kind of feel bad be the one saying that, since everyone else is agreeing...
The reason is that more than a series to me, this sounds like a crisis crossover... you know, turning entire countries seems a little bit exaggerated for a single series, it would keep the Justice League committed 24 hours a day every day to find a solution... it's seems to me that every other problem in the entire universe would take a step back if something like this would happen...
I would like to picth a new series to, but I'm already at three. Would that be a problem?
It's a rated M action/horror series with Deathstroke.
No wait, I'll wait next month, or else I'll "overwork"
