    Alright, here's my new pitch:

    DC Medieval Universe
    Plotter: Zorkel567
    Writer: Grant Morrison
    Artist: TBA
    40 PGS, $3.99
    Rated T+, Elseworlds

Have you ever imagined a world in which all of the DC Universe was suddenly dropped into Medieval Times, with Knights, and Sorcerors, Kings and Queens? Well here it is. Here comes the crazy new series that could only come from the mind of Grant Morrison. A world in which the sole survivor of a royal family has transgressed into a vigilante, fighting against a former jester, all in a Bat- Costume. Another former royal, who lost everything to backstabbing royals, now steals from the rich, gives to the poor, with his band of merry men at his back, a crossbow by his side. A world in which a shapeshifter is trapped in a cage, to be shown through out the different kingdoms, as all sorts of animals. An alien child raised by peasants, protecting a kingdom ruled by an evil dictator. A teams of Sorcerors working to prevent war. This is the DC Universe like never before. This is DC Universe Medievel!

I can agree with that. As it was, DC Universe Medieval was more of a working title so I could get the pitch up and see what's people thought of it. I think I'll go with DC: The Dark Age then. Like it mucth better myself, too.

I agree, DC The Dark Age Should be the title. Interesting concept and Grant Morrison is a good choice of writer for this series.

Hello all. Here is my proposal for a new title for the Dawn of the Universe line.

The Omega Men: Orion, Lightray, Beautiful Dreamer, Forager, Vykin, Big Barda, Mr Miracle
Written by Jim Starlin and Mark Evanier
    Art by Paris Cullins

Premise: The war between New Genesis and Apokolips is over and Darkseid has won. Much of New Genesis has been destroyed, many of the New Gods are enslaved and Highfather has been banished to The Source. Darkseid now rules and the citizens of New Genesis live under his brutal dictatorship. But there is group of survivors who have banded together to find Highfather and to bring down the tyranny of Darkseid. They are...The Omega Men!

The series for the most part will take place outside of the normal DC universe but there will be some overlapping. Many of the New God characters will appear in the series as well as a few DC Cosmic characters not tied to another title if possible. Let me know what you guys think.

I like it, I see no problems with it...
But I remember Global Honored wanted to do a mini-series with the New Gods (vs Watchmen) his idea was a little more crazy, so I think we could make them work both, we just need to put the mini in I don't know, another dimension/earth.

I'd love to do a British mini series. Probably a team book that would involve Knight, Squire, Dodger, Sister Superior, Rankorr, Godiva and (as I'm Scottish) Brigadoom. The Extraordinary Gentlemen, the Extraordinary Justice League or the Extraordinary Elite would make for a good title. (Playing around with The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Justice League Elite)

I'll contact the guy and see if it's fine, but I'm pretty sure there won't be any problems.

If you want you're free. Rankorr has been already taken, the others are free play. I would love a mini like that.
Think about the name, Extraordinary is an adjective really hard to put on something (at least from my point of view).

Yep, I figured the series was pretty crazy, so Grant Morrison could fit as writer.

Also, I have a miniseries I want to debut with DC: The Dark Age. Here's the pitch for that:

DC: The Dark Age Presents (5-Issue Miniseries)
    Writer: Grant Morrison
    Artist: TBA
    $3.99, 40 Pages
    Rated T +

The world of DC: The Dark Age is too much for one book. Check out this new miniseries, starring a classic hero, shown like never before. King Lane rules over the kingdom, Metropodom, with his beautiful daughter, the princess, Lois Lane, safely protected from the world. But when she escapes the palace one day, to check out the world, she meets a peasant boy, who may be stronger than he seems. Raised by two peasant farmers, the boy has a mysterious past, and a secret to boot. Just because he looks like a human, and sounds like a human, doesn't mean he's a human. They come from to seperate worlds, (Literally), but their worlds are about to collide as political intrigue begins to take hold in Metropodom, with a crazy bald-man at the center. As Metropodom egins to come under siege from all sides, inside and outside, the kingdom may need it's greatest defender. The kingdom may need a Superman!

So yah, this minseries will probably replace my Alpha Lanterns mini, which isn't doing so hot. Maybe if this mini does well, it can go on to become a full series, as a companion to DC: The Dark Age. I've severly redone my idea for a medieval Superman, so my mention of him in the first pitch is off. I figured release a series with Superman starring since Batman stars in the regular series for the moment. I'm currently figuring he'll be the lead for the first twelve issues or so (as long as it makes it that long), though it'll feature other DC characters in starring roles too. The first arc, which is three issues long, stars Batman and a classic Batman rogue, who fits in perfectly in a medieval setting. The second arc, only two issues long, will bring in a Robin Hood styled Green Arrow and Speedy. with the third arc three issues long, and featuring a raange of DC characters, including a Batman Rogue, a Teen Titan, a Justice League Dark member, a Flying Grayson ;), and a couple other DC characters, all redone for the different settings. And finally a fourth arc may be five issues long, and feature one of the first teams constructed in this world, lead by a particular Captain, and featuring a Father/Daughter duo, along with a couple more magic-based characters. After that, it'll probably turn the focus to a new main character, not Batman, while still continuing the overall story. But of course, these are still only thoughts about where the series could go.

Hi! I was asked to let everyone know of my status in regards to my New Dawn titles. Sorry I wasn't able to submit for this month, but with the virus warnings earlier and then I had to move back in with my parents, this has been rather hectic. I should be back on track this month, as we're *supposed* to get internet at home, but just in case, if anyone would like to do a fill-in on any of my titles, feel free! ;) I'll be sure to let ya all know when I have reliable internet again. Once more, I apologize for the inconvenience.

Yeah, I think the virus warning disrupted many of CBR posters, I hope everything works out for you. I could generally do a fill-in if needed. If at all possible please advise us your New Dawn picks for this March on the solicits thread.

No problems here. Marvell is good people. He also has a talent for plotting these things, so I expect Omega Men to do well. Besides, I have always been partial to elseworlds/multiverse/earth2 type stories and love the "world building" freedom and excitement of not knowing what to expect that they offer. My idea can wait or run at the same time, either way. Don't want to over saturate New Dawn with too many New Gods stories. I will start PM'ing some of our AoM regulars that may be interested in co-plotting a book or two and see what we can come up with.
