That's what I'm thinking - do they have immortality? And once they are finished in the outside world do they just get wrapped up and put in storage? That's an interesting side to this concept I hope we learn more about.

Me too. I pass along most of my comics to my dad after I read them so I don't have the other issues on hand. I'm thinking about going to the store to get them again so I can re-read.

Issue 5 is out today. Trust me, you want to be reading this book.

Wow, that was brutal and awesome. I read this thing so fast I couldn't believe it when I got to the end. Can't wait to see how this ends up going down. My thoughts:
    spoilers:

    - Luther's friends have got some serious guts. Petra doesn't back down from those thugs at all and looked like she might have ended up getting out herself. That chick is such an awesome character. And Pete never once backed down or gave him. Really brave.
    - Poor, poor Pete. It was rough to see what happened to him.
    - Looks like the Librarian's plans for Luther are starting to work. He seemed to close control a bit against those thugs. Not that they didn't deserve it, but he had crazy evil red eyes going on there.
    - Loving Tradd's art. Works so well with the story being told.
    - Not sure how Luther's going to take on the Librarian. That guy is scary.
    end of spoilers

Another fantastic issue. Solid A grade on this.

A great penultimate issue - Petra and Pete are badass!

Luther vs Librarian is going to be pretty damn epic.

    Default Some Info??

I've been seeing this comic lately and have actually got a recommendation to it. I've read its bio and its sound cool. Could someone tell me a little more about it? Is it dark, is the artwork cool, how are the characters?

This comic is amazing!! It has an Invincible crossed with Kick Ass feeling.

Very gory but it builds up to it and it's organic to the story and not there for shock value.

The artwork is fantastic - very Ryan Ottley-esque which if you look at my sig is a big compliment coming from me.

The supporting cast (especially love interest Petra, Luther's mom, and his best friend Pete) are well fleshed out and very interesting characters in their own right.

this comic is solid. #5 really started the climax of the book off right, and the final battle between luther and the librarian will be epic. its nice to see a book that is not afraid to put its main characters through the ringer.

I'm hoping the finale will not be a quickie though. I hope it's grueling, tiring and...messy.

The Image site has it on their schedule for March 7th but that schedule changes often. But that seems like it could be reasonable based on when the last issue came out and the speed the rest of the issues came out.
