Once upon a time in wonderland trailer
The show seems refreshingly much clearer in direction than OUAT, which just meanders all over the place. And it's already confirmed that Cora will be seen more than once in flashback sequences for this program. Further the show runner for this new series is quoted that he'd like also to bring back the actress who portrayed young Cora to explore the character even further.
    Pull list:
Adventure Time, Batgirl, Batman & Robin, BOP, Earth 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, He-Man, Katana, Nightwing, Shadowman, Swamp Thing, The Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-Man, Worlds' Finest

To be fair though , it seemed to have a smaller cast and is concentrating on only wonderland whereas once upon a time has so many fairy tales to work with.

So Storybrooke is still around at the end of the finale, but most of the cast isn't. Hmm, didn't see that coming. I also thought they'd end the Baelfire flashbacks rather than leave us with a somewhat cliffhanger. I am glad they took the time to explore the dynamic between Hook and Baelfire, though. I mean, Hook was in love with his mother, and then he develops fatherly feelings towards him that are still with him in present day.

I liked Gold ringing Lacey's belle, and the callback to her past encounter with Grumpy. I knew this season wouldn't have a happy ending with the two of them, but I'm glad the worst thing that happened is they got separated. I wonder if Gold and Hook's blood feud is really over. Something tells me it's not.

This show is losing direction with random filler. I'd rather have a show with a strong cohesive overall direction that has a sooner end date, than a show that just makes things up as it goes along.
Neverland has mermaids, Lost island has polar bears, Walt wasn't as popular a character while Henry has a personal connection/blood relation to the entire cast, The Dharma Initiative was wiped out by the time Lost started while Greg and Tamara's organization is still thriving, and we haven't seen enough about Peter Pan to even draw comparisons with Ben. Sure, the shows do have a lot in common, but you're kind of stretching. Besides, Jorge Garcia was rich on Lost, he's so poor on OUaT he can't even buy the other dwarfs dinner. Season three can go in many different directions.

That's the only thing that really bugged me about the finale. I was all "KEEP YOUR EYES ON HOOK, HE'LL DO SOMETHING SHIFTY!" It also bugged me that the bean looked like an artificial testicle.

Henry's the Holy Grail. He's from Snow White's direct bloodline. Maybe the shadow needs a male, which is why it can't take Emma.

Did Ruby make an appearance in this episode? I can't recall, and they managed to get Hopper in one scene. It would be nice to see them handle Storybrooke, probably with Leroy's help as well. At the same time, I doubt we'll be getting much Storybrooke while Emma and the others are gone.

The show's creators have said they had no knowledge of Fables when they started the show, but since then, all the comparisons to it have led them to check it out and they've read some of it. I am curious if they stumbled across some of the interviews where Willingham mentioned the idea of Peter Pan as a villain, thought it was a good idea, and ran with it.
I was wondering about that myself. Especially since who ended up being the Adversary in Fables is a kind and sympathetic character on Once Upon A Time.
