Love the art. It's so classic and dynamic. I tried reading the book a while back, but I couldn't continue.

Doesn't speak for quality and enjoyment value, surely you must be a fan of not-so-popular or underrated comics, such as the Power Girl series i'd assume?

I've known people who didn't realize this hadn't been cancelled, that volume two was serializing now. Little to no attention/marketing means people have to luck into finding it or know it's there and that it's quality some other way. And, really, the reader attention it has gotten has been inordinately negative (mostly consisting of people who seem jealous Adams is writing and drawing it and people who hate shirtless Bruce and/or dinosaurs with irrational passion).

    True enough.

Adams even had to FB/blog about Odyssey's return.

I've just read the last installment. The writing has very much improved since the first series (for those who had a problem with it)
This reads like a pulp story (I'm thinking of Tarzan)
And to think you can have it in a 368 page hardcover for $15!!!

Only one more issue until this is wrapped up? This seems so much more thought out, purposeful, and energetic than Court of Owls or anything else going on right now in Batman comics. Which, really, isn't saying much, but it should be. Something has thrilled me, something has made me laugh, something has made me think (even if that thought is "Wait... what?") every single issue.

Yeah when you think about it, this could be Adams' love letter to the stories he read as a kid with Jon Carter/Tarzan influence.

Odyssey wrapped up and it definitely seems his love letter to - and reintegration into modern Batman of - the wacky fast-paced devil may care gee whiz zoom! atmosphere of the Silver Age.

I'm intrigued by how long Adams teased the reveal of Clark/Supes and why he did it, and why he ends the story on him, as he does. I love that Superman is humbled by Batman's accomplishments, but there's this idea, still, that Superman humbles us just by being. I dunno. It's an interesting choice to delay his identity, in any case, one that I think probably didn't thrill too many who stuck around.
